(Hunting for Sophia)
"It's late. Gonna be dark soon." Carol said, concern evident in her voice.
"They'll find her." Andrea dismisses before quickly changing the subject. "Where's my gun? You have no right to take it." She told Dale.
"You don't need that just now, do you?" He replied trying to keep his voice calm, he was still sketchy about her having a gun after she tried to kill herself at the CDC.
"My father gave it to me. It's mine." She persisted.
"I can hold onto it for you."
"Or you can give to back to me."
"Everything cool?" Shane asked as he came us beside Andrea.
"No, I want my gun back." Andrea answers and Dale shakes his head. "I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not?" Shane raised an eyebrow at the older man, who shot him a look that said the words he wasn't able to say infront of Andrea. A mark of respect I guess. "I'm not comfortable with it."
"Truth is the less guns we have floating around, the better." Shane put his hands on his hips as Andrea scoffs in annoyance.
"You turning over your weapon?" She asked Shane and he shook his head.
"No, but I'm trained in its use. That's what the rest of y'all need is some proper training. But until that time I think it's best Dale keeps 'em all accounted for."
"Uh-uh." Andrea shakes her head before walking away.
"Mind telling me what that's about?" Shane asked Dale but was quickly interrupted by Glenn.
"Oh god. They're back!" He announced to the group as everyone came running over.
"You didn't find her?" Carols face dropped as she realised Sophia wasn't with us.
"Her trail went cold. We'll pick it up again at first light." Rick explained as we stepped over the small railing.
"You can't leave my daughter out there alone. To spend the night in the woods." Carol stressed, her voice going quite a few decimals higher than normal.
"Out in the dark's no good. We'd just be tripping over ourselves. More people get lost." Daryl said and Carol just couldn't get a grasp on what was happening.
"But she's 12! She can't be out there on her own. You'd didn't find anything?"
"I know this is hard, but I'm asking you not to panic. We know she was out there." I stayed quiet as Rick and Daryl tried to calm her down, I really didn't want to say some stupid joke and make the situation worse.
"And we tracked her for a while." Daryl added.
"We need this to be an organised effort. Daryl knows the woods better than anybody. I've asked him to oversee this." Not gonna lie I was a little offended Rick.
"Is that blood?" Carol points to my shirt that had a bit of blood on them, I pulled my hands from behind my back slowly, to reveal them covered with blood from my fingertips to the top of my wrist.
