Helen had let Everly go when she had seen that she had calmed down. She handed Everly her favorite stuffed animal, that her dad had given her when she was a baby.

Everly slowly shuffled closer to Edward who wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to his chest. Hours later she and the rest of her family all lay asleep.

The next morning they were all at the train station getting ready to leave the only place they've ever known. It was almost time to board the train so they were all saying their goodbyes.

"You all need to keep these on, okay are you all warm enough, good promise you'll stay together" Helen said to Lucy before talking to Susan "Susan, be a big girl, okay" they all take their turns hugging their mum.

Helen went to her youngest child "you'll be a good girl, won't you, you'll listen" Mrs Pevensie went over to Edmund next, putting his rage on and hugging him. "If dad were here he wouldn't make us go" Edmund wined " if dad were here it's mean the war was over and we wouldn't have to go" Peter said.

"You'll listen to your brother, won't you Edmund" Edmund stayed quiet. Their mother sighed before moving to kiss his head, but Edmund moved away so she just his hairline.

Helen looked over at Peter " promise me you'll look after the others" she whispered in his ear " I will mum" Peter said back. " make sure you look after Everly she needs her bing brother" she whispered again before pulling back.

Peter nodded picking Everly up and fixing her ear mittens tighter on her ears. "Alright off you go" their mother said waving them off. Peter picked up Everly ls case, handing it to Susan before picking his up, Everly started crying "mum-my, mummy" Everly said while reaching her hands out to her mother.

" it's ok honey, I'll see you again, and your big brother is going to look after you, ok" her mum whispered, grabbing her hands and kissing them softly.
