It was a long walk, so long the sun had begun to set. They made it to the top of a small mountain, looking down the siblings could see a dam. "Ah blimey!! Looks like the same of girl had got the kettle on, nice cup a' Rosy Lee" the Beaver said, looking down at the lightly lit beaver dam.
The sibling begun to follow the beaver down to the dam. "It's lovely" Lucy told the beaver.
"Beaver, is that you? I've been worried sick!! If I find you've been out with Badger again, i..." the beaver stopped talking at the sight of the 5 siblings "ohh well those aren't badgers dear. Oh, i never thought I'd see the day" the beaver finished before she begs to flattening down her fur.
"Look at my fur, you couldn't have given me 10 minute's warning?" She asked. "I'd have given you a week if i thought it would've helped" Mr beaver said, causing the siblings to giggle.
"Oh come inside and weep see what f we can get you some food, and some civilized company" Mrs beaver said and walked the siblings towards their home. Mr beaver laughed and pointed towards his wife.
"Watch your step" Mr beaver said, as the siblings walked into the dam. Edmund went last, he paused to looked behind home where he could see to mountains, "enjoying the scenery are we?" Mr before asked Edmund. Edmund looked at Beaver before walking into the dam with beaver following him.
"Isn't there anything we can do to help Tumnus Peter asked after he had sat down by the table with Everly in his lap. "They'll take him to the witched house, and you know what they say, there's few that go throw that gate that come out again" Mr beaver said.
Mrs beaver quickly walked over trying to get Mr beaver to staid taking. "Fish n' chips" Mrs before offered putting the platter on the table. "But there hope dear, lots of hope" Mrs beaver said putting her hand on Lucy's shoulder.
"Oh ye, there's a right bit more of hope! Alan was s in the nice" Mr beaver whispered. Edmund spoke up "who's Aslan?" He asked. Mr beaver started laughing "who's aslan?' You cheeky little blighter" he said still laughing.
Mrs beaver hit him in the shoulder, he looked up noticing the looks on their faces "what" he said to his wife. He stared at them for a while before he finally spoke up "you don't know, do ya" he asked.
"Well, we haven't exactly been here very long" Peter reminded mr beaver. "Well, he's only the king of the whole wood. The top geezer. The real king b if Narnia" Mr beaver explains.
"He's been away for a long while" Mrs beaver said. "But he's just got back!! And he's waiting for you near the stone table" Mr beaver told them "he's waiting for us?" Lucy questioned.
"You're bummin' joking!! They done even know about the prophecy" Beaver said loudly. He turned to his wife "well then..." Mrs beaver motioned towards the siblings.
"Look. Asians return, Tumnus's arrest, the secret police, it's all happening because of you!!" Mr beaver said "you're blaming us" Susan said offended. "No!! Not blaming. Thanking you" Mrs beaver corrected Susan.
Mr Beaver sighed before explaining "there's a prophecy, 'when Adam's flesh and Adam's bones sits at Cair Paravel in throne, the evil times will be over and done'" Mr beaver said.
"You know that doesn't really rhyme" Susan stated. "I know it don't, you're kinda missin' the point!!" Mr beaver said, Mrs beaver put her hands on his shoulders "it has long been foretold that two sons of Adam" she looked over at Peter, and Edmund. "And three daughters of Eve" she looked at Susan, Lucy, and Everly, "will defeat the white which and restore peace to Narnia" Mrs Beaver told them.
