The next day was not good, it was pouring down with rain.

Lucy was sat down by the window watching the rain pour down, sadly. Susan and Peter were sat down, Susan was trying to teach Peter Latin, Edmund however was laying on the floor under the chair trying to fix the leg.

Everly was laying on her bed fidgeting with her teddy. "Gastrovascular, come on Peter gastrovascular" Susan said "is it Latin" Peter asked. "Yes" Susan said sounding quite proud.

"Is it Latin do the worst game ever invented" Edmund joked, poking his head out from under the chair. Lucy giggled at that, Susan slammed the book shut. "We could play hide and seek". Lucy said walking over to the sofa where Susan and Peter were sat.

Lucy gave Peter the puppy eyes trying to get Peter to say yes. "But we're already having so much fun" Peter replied sarcastically. "Come on Peter please" Lucy begged.

Peter sighed "One, two, three, four...." Peter started counting down. Lucy started smiling "what" Edmund complained.

Peter stood up and went to face the wall. Lucy ran up to Everly who was still laying on the bed and grabbed her hand, and started pulling her out of the room. Everyone started running in different directions.

Lucy went to hide behind a curtain but they were pushed to the side by Edmund "I was here first" Edmund said before hiding behind the curtain. Lucy huffed before running off again.

Lucy and Everly ran up and down steps trying to open all the doors, Lucy started pulling Everly behind her, running up to a door tugging at the handle but it didn't open, Lucy ran to the next door tugged on the handle and opened it slowly.

Lucy opened the door to see a big sheet covering something big underneath. Lucy went up to the sheet and pulled it off, revealing a wardrobe, Lucy grabbed Everly's hand again and opened the door, three white marbles fell out.

Everly and Lucy stared at it in amazement, when they could hear Pete counting to a hundred, so Lucy pulled Everly in the wardrobe quickly, and closed the door but left a small gap.

Lucy peaked out of the wardrobe, they both started to walking backwards. It felt like they were walking for ages, before Lucy stopped with a gasp when she felt something poking her in the back.

She turned around to see a tree branch covered in snow. She looked at Everly, before wrapping a hand around her shoulder to get her warm, before walking out of the wardrobe.

They both stared in amazement, Lucy led Everly up to a lamppost, touching it softly, Lucy froze when she heard a branch snap. Everly had her ear muffs on so she didn't hear anything.
