"Peter poised to take yet another wicked" Peter said as he swung the bat. "Owww" Edmund whines when the ball hit his leg.
"Wake up dolly daydream" Peter joked, making Everly and Lucy who where sat on the floor leaning against a tree let out a giggle. "Why can't we play hide and seek again" Edmund asked.
Lucy rolled her eyes at Edmund. "I thought you it was a kids game" Peter said. "Besides we could all use the fresh air" Susan said. "It's not like there isn't air inside" Edmund replied.
Edmund and Peter went back to there game. "Are you ready?" Peter asked. "Are you?" Edmund asked back with a smirk.
Peter gave a little run as he threw the ball over his shoulder, Edmund sacked the ball sending it flying towards the house straight into the upstairs window. The five Pevensie siblings flinched when they heard the window shatter.
They all ran upstairs to see the ball has gone through the window and had hit down a shot of armor. Everly went to touch a piece of glass that looked shiny, but was pulled back by Peter and lifted into his arms.
"It's sharp ok, you don't touch" Peter whispered to Everly. "Oh well done ed" Peter said to Edmund. "Me, you balled it" Edmund said defending himself. They froze when they heard the faint voice of mrs Macready "what on earth is going on up there?"
"The Macready" Susan whispered. They ran out of the room, with Peter leading. "Come on" Peter said ushering them to go faster.
Susan went to open a door but it was locked. "Back, back, back" they all turned around, Edmund led them to the wardrobe room.'"come on" he said when they hesitated. The sound of the macready's footsteps growing closer made them scramble into the room.
They squeezed into the wardrobe with Peter leaving a gap to peak through. They all starting waking backwards.
"Oww, you're on my toe"
"I'm not on your toe"
"Will you stop shoving"
"Hey, Ah, Ow"Shouting, shoving, and pushing can be heard, as they came to the end of the wardrobe. Peter and Susan stared I amazement. Looking around not quite believing what they were seeing.
"Impossible" Susan whispered. "Don't worry I'm sure it's just your imagination" Lucy said with a cheeky smile. "I don't suppose saying we're sorry would cover it" Peter said putting every down. Everly went straight to the snow, she started to squish the snow in her hand.
"No, it wouldn't" Lucy said. Lucy pulled a snowball from behind her back and chucked it at Peter, the snowball hitting him right in the face. "But that might" Lucy laughed.
Everly stood up giggling before Chung a piece of snow at Peter, but only hitting him in the chest. Peter bent down pulling a face at Everly before ruffling herself.
Susan threw a snowball at Edmund "owww, stop it" Edmund whined. Edmund got Peter attention at that, "you little liar" Peter said. "You didn't believe the either" Edmund replied. "Apologies to Lucy and Everly" when Edmund stayed silent Peter took a step towards him"Say your sorry" "alright, I'm sorry" Edmund said, not meaning it.
"That's alright, some little children just don't know when to stop pretending" Lucy said with a smirk. "Maybe we should go back" Susan said ruining the moment. "Shouldn't we at least said a look around" Edmund said suspiciously.
"I think Lucy and Everly could decide" Peter said. Lucy and Everly shared a look before Lucy said "we'd like you all to meet Mt Rumnus" she said.
"Well Mr Tumnus it is" Peter said making Everly squeal, jumping up and down, flapping her arms around. Peter bent down to Everly's level, taking her hand in his. "Calm down, ok, deep breath" Peter said before standing up and walking back into the wardrobe.
"But we can't go hiking in the snow, dressed like this" Susan complained. Peter walked out of the wardrobe carrying coats into his arms.
"No, but I'm sure the professor won't mind us using these" Peter said handing a coat to Susan. "Besides if you think about it logically, we're not even taking them out of the wardrobe" he said shoving a coat at Edmund.
"But that's a girls coat" Edmund complained, shooting an annoyed look at Peter. "I know" Peter said with a small smirk as he handed Lucy a coat. Everly started giggling at that.
"And what do you think you're giggling at" Peter said in a cheeky voice, Peter helped Everly put on her coat. "It's a bit big but it's the smallest one so it will have to do" Peter said noticing how it dragged on the snow behind her.
Once they all had their coats on they went on their way to Mr Tumnus's house.
