The beavers led the Pevensie's back to the 'frozen' river. It was melting, pieces were breaking off, it wasn't going to stay frozen for long, "we need to cross now" Peter said looking down at the river. "Don't beavers make dams" Lucy said to Mr and Mrs beaver.

"I'm not that's fast dear" Mr beaver said. "Come on" Peter said grabbing Everly's hand and pulling her along. "Wait!! Will you think about this for a minute?" Susan said, making Peter stop to look at her. "Susan, we don't have a minute" Peter told her.

"I'm just trying to be realistic" Susan said, defending herself. "No, you're just trying to be smart, as usual" Peter said, turning back around and begun to walk down the path, Susan stood there for a while before following her siblings.

They all stopped in their tracks when they heard howling. They looked up to see the wolves running down the path towards them. "Ohh no!!" Lucy said. They all begun to run faster down the path.

Peter helped Everly and Lucy down the path. They got down to the river, Peter stepped onto the ice making it crack, he stepped back. "Maybe I should go first" Mr beaver said to Peter. "Maybe you should" Peter said, agreeing with Mr beaver, letting him go first.

Mr beaver walked across the ice, using his tail to tap along the ice, making sure it won't break. Some parts braking under his weight. "You've been sneaking second helpings, haven't you?" Mrs beaver asked Mr beaver.

"Well, you never know which meals going to be your last, especially with you cooking" Mr beaver said. Mrs beaver followed behind her husband, with Peter and Everly following next. Once it was all clear Susan and Lucy went last.

A piece of ice broke under Everly's foot making her scream and latch onto Peter's leg. "If mum knew what we were doing..." Susan said trailing off. Peter turned to look at her. "Mums not here" Peter turned back around and seated walking again.

"Oh no!!" Lucy said again looking up to see the wolves coming closer. "Come on" peter said, running across the river. "Hurry!!" Susan said following Peter. They were half way across when the wolves jumped down the cliff, and landed in front of them.

They tuned to run the opposite way , but got blocked off by more wolves behind them. Mr beaver growled at the wolf, causing a wolf to jump on top of him and held him down. Peter unsheathed his sword and pointed it at the leader, who was walking towards them.

"Put that down boy, someone could get hurt" the leader said waking closer to them. "Don't worry about me, run him through" Mr beaver yelled as he was held down tighter. "Leave now while you can, and your brother leaves with you" the leader said walking closer to Peter.

Peter stood in front of his siblings and let them backwards. "Stop Peter! Maybe we should listen to him" Susan yelled at Peter. The leader chuckled "smart girl" he said.

"Don't listen to him! Kill him! Kill him now!" Mr beaver said. Causing the wolf holding him down to growl. "Oh, come on, this isn't your war, all my queen wants is for you to take your family and go" the leader said.

"Look, just because some man in a red coat hands you a sword, it doesn't make you a hero!! Just drop it!!" Susan yelled at Peter, causing him to look over at her. "No peter!! Narnia needs you" Mr beaver yelled.

"What's it gonna be, son of Adam? I won't wait forever, and neither will the river" the leader of the wolfs said. Hearing a rumble the siblings looked up to see the waterfall breaking, water was pushing through the ice, causing it to fall down.

"Hold on to me" Peter told his siblings, as he slammed his sword down through the ice in front of them. They looked up to see a huge wave crash over them, they all screamed and held onto Peter tighter.

It took them a few seconds to resurface. Peter could feel Everly and Lucy slipping off the ice, so he pulled Lucy up by her coat, and pulled Everly closer into his arms. They floated on the ice until they reached the shore with the beavers swimming beside them.
