Mr Tumnus stepped through after them and wiped his feet on the door mat, getting all the snow off, before walking into the house.

Lucy walked in pulling Everly behind her, Everly went and sat down on the sofa. Lucy walked up to a photo, picking it up "now that, that is my father" Mr Tumnus did turning away again to make the tea.

" he has a nice face, he looks a lot like you" Lucy said looking up to Mr Tumnus. "No, I'm not very much like him at all really" Mr Tumnus said sadly. "My father's fighting in the war" Lucy replied in a matched sad tone, making Everly bury her head in her teddy.

" my father went away to war to, but that was a long, long time ago" Mr Tumnus said looking back at Lucy as he finished the tea. "Before this dreadful winder" he continued.

"Winters not all bad, there's ice skating, snowball fights, ohh... and Christmas" Lucy listed, smiling. "Not here, not anymore, no we haven't had a Christmas here in 100 years" Mr Tumnus said.

"What no presents for 100 years" Lucy said shocked. "Always winter, never Christmas" he said "it's been a long winter" he continued, they had moved over to sit on the sofas and sat by the fire.

Lucy squeezed in by Everly. Lucy grabbed Everly under the arms and pulled her up onto his lap. "But you would have loved Narnia in the summer, we fauns danced all night, and we never did get tired and the music, oh such music, would you like to hear some now" Mr Tumnus asked.

"Yes please" Lucy said wide-eyed. "Now are you two familiar with any Narnia lullabies" he said. "Sorry, no" Lucy replied. "Well that's good cause this probably won't sound anything like one" he said looking down at them both.

Mr Tumnus started to play this beautiful song on something that looks like a flute. Lucy was staring into the fire, Everly was wearing her ear muffs, she couldn't hear the music all that well. As Lucy was staring off into the fire animals suddenly started to dance in the fire.

Lucy gasped as a lion appeared in the fire and let out a roar. Her eyes felt heavy as it go harder to keep them open. Before she knew it the world went dark. She did hear the faint sound of glass shattering.

Hours later

Lucy woke up with a jump, she looked out of the window to see it was dark. "Oh, we should go" she said. "It's too late for that now" Lucy looked at Mr Tumnus, she went to get up to walk towards him.

When she went to get up she felt a body fall against her, she looked down to see Everly looking up at her tiredly. "I'm such a terrible faun" Mr Tumnus said. "No you're not, you're the nicest faun we've ever met" Lucy argued.

"Then I'm afraid you've had a poor sampling" Mr Tumnus said ashamed. "You couldn't have done anything that bad" Lucy said trying to comfort him. "It's not what I've done, it's what I'm doing"

"What are you doing" Lucy said, she was confused. "I'm kidnapping you" Lucy froze.

"The white witch, she's the one that makes it always winter, always cold, she gave orders if we ever see a human wondering the woods we are supposed to turn it over to her" Mr Tumnus stuttered.

"But Mr Tumnus, you wouldn't, I thought you were our friend" Mr Tumnus got up, ran towards them picked up Everly, grabbed Lucy's hands and ran.

"Now, she may already know you're here, the woods are full of her spies, even some of the trees are on her side" Mr Tumnus led them back to the lamppost.

"Can you find your way back from here" Mr Tumnus asked them. "Yes, I think so, will you be alright?" Lucy asked Mr Tumnus.

Mr Tumnus started crying, "hey, hey" Lucy said, comforting him, Lucy handed him a handkerchief. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry here" he said, trying to hand Lucy her handkerchief back. "Keep it, you need it more then I do" Lucy smiled.

"Now go, go" Mr Tumnus said to Lucy and Everly. Lucy grabbed Everly's hand and ran through the trees to were the wardrobe was and fell out with a thump.

"Come on" Lucy said. Lucy got up and pulled Everly up with her. They both ran out of the room. "It's alright, we're back, we're alright" Lucy shouted.
