They all walked into the house, it was so big.

Mrs Macready didn't wait long before she started speaking, "Professor Kirke is not accustomed to having children in this house, and as such there are a few rules to follow, there will be no shoutin', or running, no improper use of the dumbwaiter"

Susan reached her hand out to touch a statue of a head, but before she could Mrs Macready started shouting, out of reflex Peter gripped Everly's hand. "There will be no touching of the historical artifacts!! And above all there should be no disturbing of the professor" she told them in a stern voice, looking at them over her glasses.

She casted an apologetic glance down at Everly, knowing her shouting might have upset her. There mother had wrote a letter all about Everly.

Mrs Macready turned on her heals and told them to follow her. Where she had showed them where they'll be staying.

Hours Later

Lucy and Everly were laying in there bed, Peter was looking out the window listening to the radio. Susan got Peter's attention, and gave a head gesture towards the girls. "They feel scratchy" Lucy complained. Luckily Everly was in her own sleeping bag her mother had sewn her.

Everly started sniffling and scratching her arm, peter went over to the girls after turning the radio off. Susan followed after and sat down at the end of Lucy's bed.

Peter sat down next to Everly and pulled her onto his lap, he pulled her arm into his and started caressing where she was scratching with his thumb.

"What's wrong mhm?" Peter asked her in a soft tone. "Mummy" Everly replied, looking up at Peter. "I know we all miss her to" Peter said. "Wars don't last forever, we'll be home soon" Susan said to both gils in a comforting tone.

"Yeah if homes still there" Edmund said from across the room. Everly started crying into Peter's chest, at hearing this. "Look what you did" Peter whisper yelled at him. "Isn't it time you were in bed" Susan said "yes mum" Edmund replied in a sarcastic voice. "Ed" Peter exclaimed, before turning to the girls.

"Home will still be there, don't worry, plus you saw outside this place is huge, we can do whatever we want here, tomorrow is going to be great, you'll see"
