How did he know that I'm with pup? I just found out this morning. I can't stop thinking about it while I watch the others run around the field like crazy people. It's quite funny seeing it when you don't know what is going on. At least one of the hunters is using his brains, the first 3 rounds they shoot on everything that moved but the fourth round I heard someone yelling in the cabin to only shoot when sure to hit something. What means they don't have that much ammo left.
Alpha Vince squats down next to me. "And? What do you think?" he asked. I'm surprised to see him so calm. Doris left him because he was to controlling, to cold towards Nell and so on but the man next to me seems different. He reminds me off Nell— in control.
"I'm pretty sure there are only 4 hunters shooting at us. They don't have that much ammo left or they want us to think they have not much."
He nodded and looked at his little group. "Okay, this time run around like before but try to get closer. I'm going in, I'm almost sure they won't kill me. They want me."
"Are you sure?" One of the warriors asked.
"Yes, we run as soon as the other group is gone. One — two — three. NOW!" he yells and charges towards the cabin, mid run he turns in his Lycan. It's impressive seeing his Lycan, I never saw one before. They are so big, I'm a bit curious so see little Nell change in a Lycan. The thought makes me smile, that girl softened something in me. But don't tell her that.
Alpha Vince growls loudly when an arrow hits his shoulder, but he keeps on running, slightly changing his direction. It doesn't take long before I see John and others charging too. When Alpha Vince changes back in his human and breaks down the front door of the cabin I get a mind link. I gasp and hold my breath recognizing her voice, 'Izzy and some hunters are in the packhouse, another entrance through the basement. I'm hit with —', with what? I stand up and for the first time I'm not sure what I need to do. I see John and Alpha Nicolas enter the cabin. What is going on? Do I need to stay here? Stay save and protect my unborn pup? Or run towards the packhouse and help Nell? '— many arrows.' Nell finished her mind link when Vince runs back out the cabin running towards the packhouse.
"Naomi?!" Alpha Nicolas waves me over, I jump up and run towards him while he yells, "We are going in, we killed two of them. One —, I assume their leader ran back in there," he points towards a dark passage in the cabin.
"I stay here and watch the captured boy?" I asked looking at the boy. He looks young, probably 15 years old or so. He's still growing, his limbs are long and skinny.
"You and John are taking him back to the packhouse."
"Okay," I pull the boy up, although he cooperates without problem. But I will not hesitate to hurt him if he tries something. Besides one of them hurt my mate.
John follows us outside with a smile on his face, looking at the sky, "It's a good day to kill some hunters or change them into a vampire. What do you think Naomi?"
