"Stand still Shawn!" I muttered at him while I tied his tie.

"I'm standing still."

I looked at him narrowing my eyes, "you are not. I get that you are nervous but 5 minutes Shawn, that's all I need."

He huffed, but finally stood still. Today it's his and Max wedding day. From the moment he got an offer to go pro after college they started planning the wedding. He accepted their offer but asked if he could sign after he was married. He only wanted to sign with Max last name. How sweet is that? They organized everything in a week. It was hectic. But today it's finally their day.

I took a step back and looked at him, "you look good Shawn. Max is going to love it."

He chuckled and turned around looking into the mirror, "I hope so. The color isn't what I usually wear. It's special."

"He's going to love it," I assured him. I went with Shawn looking for a suit but after trying some black, grey and dark blues my eye fell on a special one. A 'honey', colored suit jacket. Some people would call it gold. The rest of the suit was black and with the honey colored jacket he was sold. Although he was scared that Max wouldn't like it. Knowing Max, he's going to love it.

Mom and dad enter the room and mom gasps seeing Shawn. "Gorgeous Shawn," mom tells him touching his arm.

"Thank you, Doris. Is it time?"

Mom nods "Shawn?" He hummed while he rakes his fingers through his hair. "I wanted to ask you or more suggest you but only if you want —," mom took a deep breath in.

"What Doris?" he asked.

"Maybe Vince and I can give you away."

He looks at them, his eyes widening slightly. He placed his hand over his mouth muffling the little gasp he lets out. "We understand it if you want to walk alone down the aisle, it was just a suggestion —," mom rambled but Shawn wrapped his arms around her. "I would love that. Thank you Doris and Vince."

"How is he?" Luke whispered in my ear.

"Nervous but ready."
