Chapter 19

He slowly nodded his head and sighed "alright, we have an agreement, but in return I want more than just a knowledge of who you are" he said with a grin playing at his lips

"Anything" I said thinking that what he wanted couldn't be too bad

He smiled evilly and his eyes hardened

"I want you"

Those words kept ringing in my head "I want you" my eye bulged and my heart raced, my palms started sweating and my throat instantly closed. I tried swallowing the huge lump that formed in my throat but it just wasn't working, I tried to slow my heart rate by breathing but no air was reaching my lungs. What did he mean he wanted me?

I couldn't move, my body was frozen in shock and I couldn't take my gaze off of him, he could tell I was in shock, he chuckled darkly and spoke in a silvery tone.

"Don't look to shocked now darling" he said smoothly

"I- I uh err" I couldn't form any words but was just speaking gibberish, he again chuckled darkly and had the most cunning sly grin any person could have.

"I'm sorry dear were you saying something? I didn't quite catch that" he said mockingly while he held his hand to his ear as if he couldn't hear what I was saying. I was still dumbfounded and words were just jumbling in my mouth and no matter what I thought to say nothing was coming out of my mouth except for inaudible sounds.

"I really don't see what all the confusion is about" he said with amusement

"I- uh, you? Me?" I said failing to form a sentence

"Yes, I want you" he said as if it was obvious

"I don't see the problem here, it's not that big of a deal" he said as if what he said was perfectly normal

"W-why?"

"Why what darling? Be more specific" he said laughing slightly

"W-why do you want m-me for" I said stumbling on some of my words, a grin grew on his face

"Well isn't it obvious?" he said in a cynical tone. I just looked at him not saying anything

"Apparently not" he said almost mockingly, I looked at the ground trying to ignore his comment to me.

It wasn't that I didn't understand the question it was just I was still in shock and there were so many possibilities as to why he would want me, and I didn't know which reason it was. It could've been because he wanted to use me as bait for the Avengers to rescue me and end up walking right into his trap, it could've been because he wanted to manipulate or abuse me into using my powers for him. Fuck, it could have even been because he wanted to trick me into trusting him so he would have a sure way out of his cell and wanted me on his side of the fight. There were many more possibilities for him wanting me, but one thing for sure was he definitely didn't want me for me.... Nobody does.

"I want you-" Loki started saying, I looked up and was brought back to reality.

"I want you, because every great King needs a Queen by his side" he said, I stared at him with pure shock and was at a loss for words, he couldn't possibly mean that, could he?

"You w-want me t-to-"I stumbled out my words before I was cut off

"Yes, I want to make you my Queen" he said again. He didn't have sarcasm or malice in his voice but he did seem to be amused by how in shock I was.

"Oh for fuck's sakes! Say yes! You and I both know you want to be with him and now he wants to make you his queen! You couldn't have imagined anything better. Hell it doesn't get any better than this!"
