Chapter 2

First I made sure my hand was close to Cole's face, he was still licking my palm so I got out of his grip and scratched his face with my nails I looked over and saw he was bleeding, then I moved my foot so it was out of Jake's mouth and kicked him in the face hard enough to send him across the room. I used my free leg to kick Eddy in the stomach which caused him to let go of me and grab his stomach in pain, then I used my free arm to grab Vince's shoulder and rip him off of me. The only one left was Kyle, I just yanked my hand out of his but didn't hurt him considering he hasn't done much harm, my brother stood there shocked that I had just beat up his friends and got free, he was about to come forward but I used my wind power to push him back making him fall to the ground. The other guys started getting up and were about to come after me again, I used my ice powers to shoot large icicles towards them pinning them to the ground and walls, I didn't kill any of them but I just pinned them down so they couldn't move i also knocked them unconscious so they couldn't see me escape. My brother was unconscious from hitting his head off the wall, so when he came to he could let all of his friends down because he wasn't pinned against the wall. I went over to the window freezing the bars that were on it making them weak and then kicked them off, I was about to jump out the window when Kyle grabbed my hand trying to stop me "wait!" He said loudly before I could jump, I had my other hand that he wasn't holding up and ready to attack him with if he tried to do anything "you'll never make that jump!" He exclaimed he had a tone of concern in his voice, it almost seemed like he cared about me and if I got hurt.

I slowly put my hand down "why do you care if I get hurt from the jump or not?" I asked him he looked at a loss for words and didn't know what to say "that's what I thought" I said about to make my second attempt at jumping out the window "WAIT, NO!" He yelled again he gripped my hand tighter and I looked over to him before I almost jumped out, he just looked down and started rubbing my hand with his thumb "I-I-I" he stuttered "you what?" I asked in a calm but annoyed voice, he looked up at me before he spoke again "I-I didn't know that your brother invited us over here t-to... You know" was he telling the truth? Was he not in on the plan? He didn't say he wanted to do anything to me when they were all eyeing me up, and he didn't fight back when I pinned everyone else down. "I would have sex with you," he said he then looked up at me with wide eyes "but only if you wanted to! I wouldn't force you to do anything!" He said really fast and rushed thinking I'd be offended by him saying it, he was still rubbing my hand affectionately and looked like he was innocent "I believe you.." I said slowly almost having to convince myself of what I was saying he looked up at me with innocent eyes and a caring face "really?!" He said excitedly I slowly nodded my head.

"Well then you don't have to jump! You can stay here with me!" He said rushed in excitement "no I can't, I have to get away from this place, it's the only way I'll be safe" I said shaking my head he looked down understanding "then you can stay with me!" He said cheerily I looked at him confused "ya stay with me! At my house! I'll keep you safe and you'll never have to come back here! And plus its cold outside and winters coming shortly, you'll never make it out on the streets for more than a week" the kid had a point I would have to try and find food and shelter to survive the winter and I most likely wouldn't survive long. I thought about staying with Kyle but then reasoned with myself and thought it was a bad idea, what if his friends ever came over to his house and I was there? What would his parents say? I would be able to manage on the streets by myself for a while before I would have to figure out a more solid plan. "I'm sorry I can't, it's too risky, now you stay here and pretend I beat you up too I'm sorry but I have to do this" I then used my ice powers again and pinned him against the wall with some of the others, I was about to jump out of the window when he spoke again "WAIT! How will I know you're ok?" I guess this guy was actually kind of concerned about me, or he could just be pretending so that he can use my trust against me and lead all of these other douchebags to me "I'll be in the park by the convince store, meet me there at 5pm tomorrow and don't come with anyone else, I'll show you I'm ok and then you have to leave" I said to him he nodded "I'm sorry but I have to do this so the others don't get suspicious" I said "do wh-" before he could finish I took his head and banged it against the wall knocking him out, once I knew he was actually out cold I walked over to the window again before I jumped out I looked back to my room and looked at everybody my eyes lingered on my brother and I only thought of the disgust and hatred I had for him I knew I wasn't gonna miss this place or the people in it, I turned back to the window and jumped. When I landed I twisted my ankle pretty badly I just numbed it with my ice powers and ran, when I reached the park I found the furthest bench away from the street and laid down to finally get some rest.
