Ahaan
Okay. It might not have been the most fun working all day, but I actually enjoyed it. It took me some time to get a grasp of it but when I did, I did a ton of work. Bhai looked at me like I was a child who was distracted by a small car when he asked for a monster truck.
Rascal.
Bad news. I still haven't been able to talk to my wife and the more time passes, the more our misunderstanding gros and that shouldn't happen. I had thought that I'd talk to her when I go to our room to get ready. I even planned on taking the dress that I had chosen for her amongst the many that bhabhi designed.
Instead Bhai had someone pickup both of our clothes so that we could get ready at the office itself. I hate it. I would rather get ready with my wife. I mean if we were in a normal relationship, after today, I wouldn't leave her side.
Anyways, I put on my designer tuxedo that Bhabhi custom-made for me. It perfectly matches with the gown that I chose for Ira. She said that she knew that Ira too would choose the same gown for herself as I did.
I leave my bow untied and spray on my cologne. Bhai knocks on the door to the temporary office I was given today and I let him and Karan in.
"You look presentable." Karan comments on my look.
"I always look presentable, Karan. It's you who looks like someone from a flea market."
"Hey, that's called street style." He retorts back.
"It's called bad taste." I correct him.
"Okay, enough of both of you. Let's get going. Dad and Chachu already left and the guests have started coming too. Besides, I wanna see my wife." He steps out of the office and walks straight to the elevator.
I wanna see my wife too.

"You have your weird face on." Aarav claps a hand on my shoulder.
"No. I don't. I look normal." I counter.
"You really need to get laid. You are getting more cranky every day." He takes two glsses of champagne from a waiter passing by. He takes a sip himself and passes me one for myself. "Here. Alcohol might help."
I take the glass from him greedily and down it in one gulp.
"Bad day, huhh?" One side eye from me and he steps back. "Okay no more talking. Lets go sit at the bar or you alone would fnish all the champagne here."
We walk to the open bar and sit in silence watching everyone stroll in. The part is being held in the same garden as the masquerade but a lot more fancier. The entire area is decorates with structure punctuated with billowing fabric, ribbons and fairy light, dramatic uplightings, ribbons and a couple of florals and greenery hang naturally.
Suddenly, a hush falls over the crowd, and my eyes instinctively search for the source of the commotion. There, standing at the entrance, is Ira. She looks absolutely mesmerizing in the dark blue gown covered in diamond rhinestones that resemble stars. Her hair cascades in elegant waves, and her makeup enhances her natural beauty. My breath catches in my throat, and for a moment, I forget everything else.
Ira scans the room and our eyes lock. Her expression is unreadable, but there's a hint of something—maybe hope, maybe hesitation. I stand up, feeling an urgent need to talk to her, to bridge the gap that's been growing between us.
Before I can make my way to her, I hear Dad's voice over the microphone, "Ladies and gentlemen, I and my wife welcome all of you over here. The last time we were all gathered like this was hen I announced the birth of our grandson, Aariv and to officially announce the joining of my younger son Ahaan and Ira in holy matrimony."
