At the Ubuyashiki Mansion, the remaining Hashira had been summoned. Among them were Gyomei Himejima, Tomioka Giyuu, Kocho Kanae, and Tengen Uzui. However, Endo Yamato, known as the Light Hashira, was conspicuously absent. Kagaya Ubuyashiki had called this meeting for an important announcement.

At the butterfly mansion Kanae thoughts were racing. "What do you think Oyakata-sama wants?" she asked, looking at Giyuu.

Giyuu, ever stoic, replied, "Let's just go there and find out."

The two made their way to the Ubuyashiki Mansion. Upon arrival, they found Gyomei and Tengen already present, engaged in quiet conversation.

"Good morning, Gyomei-san, Uzui-san," Kanae greeted them warmly.

Uzui, always flamboyant, responded, "Flamboyant morning to you as well, Kanae."

Gyomei, with his usual serene demeanor, said, "Hello, Kanae."

Giyuu merely nodded in acknowledgment.

Uzui clapped Giyuu on the shoulder, his grin wide. "Come on, my unflamboyant buddy, you can do better than that!"

Giyuu, slightly exasperated, muttered, "Yeah, yeah, good morning..."

Gyomei's deep voice interrupted, "Have you heard any news about Yamato?"

Kanae's expression softened with a hint of worry. "Not a word, but a month ago he sent me a message saying he was doing okay. As long as he's alive..."

Uzui looked intrigued. "This Yamato you keep mentioning—ain't he the Light Hashira??"

Kanae's face lit up. "He's the best person ever. He's the one who taught Giyuu and me to be as strong as we are now."

Giyuu added, "Yeah, he's the strongest person ever."

Gyomei nodded in agreement. "I haven't heard a word from him since he asked me to teach him about Stone Breathing four years ago. He's become a young man now... Namu amida butsu..."

Uzui's curiosity grew. "Wait, I thought you said he was the Light Hashira. Why did he try to learn Stone Breathing?"

Uzui laughed. "That guy sounds nuts. I think we're going to get along."

Kanae blushed and giggled at the comment.

At that moment, Kagaya Ubuyashiki emerged from his room, his presence commanding immediate respect.

"Good morning, my dear Demon Slayers," Kagaya greeted them.

All of the Hashira knelt in front of him, their expressions solemn.

"It's been five months, hasn't it how are your injuries Giyuu?" Kagaya began.

"I have fully recovered Oyakata-sama." Giyuu replied.

"That's good I called you here because I have some great news. The number of demons far north is dwindling, thanks to a certain Slayer..."

Kanae felt a surge of pride, knowing it was Yamato. All of them, except Tengen, knew that Yamato had been working undercover, eradicating demons in the north.

Kagaya continued, "Oh right Today, Tengen, you will get to meet the Light Hashira."

Kanae's eyes widened in surprise. "Today?"

Yamato, who had been hiding behind them, stepped forward, kneeling beside Kanae with a broad smile. "Hey, this is the Light Hashira reporting for duty."
