I wake up in a hospital bed.I don't even remember what happened.i clench my eyes shut trying to remember.

I ate sushi and went over to Jade's hotel room.I brought us fruit and we ate and watched tv till midnight.

Then she slept in my arms before I left to go back to my room.I remember that when I was in her room I got really hot.

Practically the reason I took my shirt off in the first place."Knox?".

I heard Jades slight Australian accent and I groan."Fuck okay".

She stands up and I turn my head to face her."Where am I ?".

"A hospital bed.You passed out when we got back to Callister".

I nod my head and she cups my face softly."How are you feeling?".

I blink a couple of times before looking at her."My stomach..hurts".

She nods her head and says "It was a stomach virus as I thought.They put you on some medicine for today and yesterday-"."-Wait..what?".

"You've been asleep for two days".My eyes widen and I look around.

"Where's my phone".

She grabs my phone from the table and hands it to me.Fuck just as I thought.Four missed calls from Demetrius.

Demetrius:Are you hiding from me little Carrington?
Me:I'm in the hospital.I just woke up
Demetrius:Should I send you flowers?Maybe my presence will show you how much I hate being ignored
Me:Then soon as I get discharged I will go to the club
Demetrius:I look forward to it boy

There is a knock on the door and Jade quickly lets my face go and walks over to the other side.

I almost drop my phone at the sight.Ma and Nadia walk in.Nadia spots Jade and smirk hits her face.

"I heard about you passing out and I took a flight from New York as fast as I could"."And I took a flight from Italy"Nadia says.

Ma slowly looks over to Jade and clears her throat."I've never met you before".

Jade stand up and holds her hand out."Jade Phillips.Im the student teacher for his psychology class.I was also a chaperone for the trip".

Ma nods her head before shaking her hand and walking over to me."Where is she?"I ask.

"Banks missed her flight from LA to come here.Im here on her and Astrid behalf".

I frown and look away."I'm staying here for a week.How are you feeling?"."Fine"I say.

Jade narrows her eyes at me before Ma sighs in relief.The doctor nods on the door and walks in.

"Ahh I see you are awake Mr.Carrington.Thats great.How are you feeling"he says.

"Fine".

Jade clenches her teeth before I'm sitting down.He nods his head and looks around.

"Is family in here.I want to go over some x rays I've found".

Ma glances at Jade and Jade stands to leave when I stop her."She's also family".

Jades eyes widen in surprise as Naya smiles at me.Ma frowns at this before motioning for the doctor to continue.

"You are under a strict diet to help you get back to the nutritions you need.I did want to go over something that might be the reason why we're in so much pain".He pulls a cray chart and my eyes wide.
Fuck.

"It seems to me that you had a broken rib that has been self healing on its own for around 4 years".

i feel the whole room look at me as I quickly come up with a excuse."I took boxing classes when I was in high school.So that's where it was done".

He nods and says "I understand that and I'm sure that's the case but I will suggest a mri to make sure that everything is healing properly.Ill get one scheduled for today so you can be out the hospital within the next two days".

I nod my head as he walks out of the room."I didn't know you took boxing classes"Ma says shocked.

Hm maybe because that broken rib was from me fighting in an underground fight club that never particularly healed correctly.

It was why I quit futbol because it as causing me so many problems.That and Astrid signed her contract with that New York team so it was bye-bye going to Knox's games.

"I didn't think you would care"I say casually."Of course I would care!It's a hobby Knox.Its good to have one.Though I did wish it wasn't so..violent".

Wait until she hears about the fight club that I'm getting myself into.That takes violence to a whole other level.

Ma phone rings and she looks down."It's your mom I need to update her".

She excuses herself and Nadia glances at me."I'll see if they have any coffee jelly"."You're the best".

She walks out and Jade glares at me."You aren't fine.You told me your stomach still hurts".

"Carrington's don't show weakness"."It's a matter of your health and Safety Knox".

"It doesn't matter.I can handle the pain,wildflower".

She runs her hand in my hair and says "Promise me if you are in serious pain you will tell the doctor"."I promise".

She kisses my forehead and whispers "I love you"."I love you too".

three days later

Knox was discharged from the hospital and everything was back to normal.At least that's what I thought would happen.

But that isn't the case.Because Carrington is hiding something from me.

He shows up way later at my apartment than usual.And on top of that,He comes back with cuts and bruises.

I did think of course..boxing.But did that really get that..dangerous?I mean I was starting to get annoyed especially when I believe that Saint nor Lotus have a clue was is going on.

"Knox!".

My eyes darken as a brunette rushes in and walks over to Knox.

Then it was her,Sarai Henderson.A freshman with clear motives of moving on Knox.

Knox pays her no mind but I can't say that I like her being so close to him.She was in the psychology class below Knox so I had the displeasure of teaching that class by myself as a trial run.

And everything in that class is perfect,except for her.A class clown with no sense of actually growing up.

Sure Knox was like that freshman year,but now?he was quiet as a mouse and tended to his studies.

"Ms.Henderson,I will have to ask you to leave.Class is about to start"Professor Salim says.

Sarai frowns before she whispers something over to Knox that causes his eyes to widen slightly.She rushes out the room and Professor turns to me."Right let's get started with class".
