"What's wrong with you?"Artemis asks.

I couldn't tell her my Knox problems.Because in their eyes means Knox were done.

I couldn't tell them that in reality we were still very much dating.That we would be at each. Others apartments every night.

"Nothing"."Come on something is on your mind?".

He was acting weird.
Way weirder than usual.
It wasn't his slight psychotic self.

He was..less affectionate and only kissed me when I told him too.Could he be losing feelings?

I mean technically we've been on and off for two years from now.But still,I would think he would be better for me.

"Nothing really".

I look up to see Knox sitting down at the bar by himself.He was drinking a Coke while on his phone.

"So it's about him"Artmies whispers."What?".

"It's about Knox.I know you still have love for him.Look I know I give you a hard time about Astrid finding out but if you really like him..you could just date in secretary."

I roll my eyes and stand up."I'll be back".

She nods her head and I walk over to him.i sit down beside him and he continues to look down at her soda.

He jets his head up and turns to me."Ahh hey Wildflower"."Is something wrong".

He shrugs and says "Just uh..you know stressed from the internship".

I narrow my eyes and says "You only work two days a week".

"Uh..not anymore.Ava says that I should..start to work like a full adult"he says softly.

I look at him sadly and narrow my eyes."You are still a full time student.That has 15 credit classes.You cant handle a full time job on top of that".

Knox frowns and says "I have to.Carringtons don't give up".
"Baby"I whisper.

I was about to put my hand on his when he stands up."I'm fine really,Jade.Don't uh wait up for me tonight.I have to stock the lab tonight".

"Knox you-"."-Oh Jade".

"Ava".

She smiles and turns to Knox."Why are you not answering your text.I told you the shipment came in earlier".

Knox sighs and says "Sorry I will get right to it".

He gets up and starts to walk.I grab his arm and pull him back."Are you aware that he's a full time student?Letting him work at your lab full time is not remotely possible".

She tilts her head and turns to Knox."You are able to work full time right?".

She narrows her eyes at him and he nods his head slowly."See.How about you stay into the teacher side and not in his personal business.Lets go".

Knox follows behind her and I grunt."It's something with that bitch"Saint hisses.

I look over at him and Nadia."She's way too ..cocky.And a soft spoken Knox?I thought I was in a nightmare"Nadia says.

Saint narrows his eyes and says "What does she have in him.Knox would never pass up the opportunity to do less work.He hates being stressed.It gives him anxiety".

I turn to them and say "Can you help me then?".

Saint nods his head and says "Obviously.I don't trust her".

I nod my head and Nadia frowns."You know it's obvious that you two are back together",

"What no we aren't-"."-We know when Knox is heartbroken.He's a real dickface.And right now?He's probably the happiest he's been.Except you know..right now"Nadia adds.

"We just need to get Knox express himself in how he's feeling"

"Sex"Saint says."What?".

"All you have to do is kiss him and he's going to go be like sponge for you".

"Knox?".

I had already stopped by my apartment and to drop my stuff off. I walk into Knox's apartment and see Knox laying down on the couch.He sits up slightly and my eyes widen.I set my bag down and walk over.

"Baby you look exhausted".

He shrugs and I walk over to the him.I bend down in front of him and he looks at me.

"How about I cheer you up"."I'm fine,Jade".

I frown and say "You are 100 percent not fine.Its never Jade.Its always Little trouble.Or wildflower.or Baby.Or Love in that extremely attractive accent of yours".

He smiles softly and says "I'm fine really,Love"."See extremely attractive".

He chuckles and I cup his face.The second that I'm about to kiss him he moves back.I look at him confused and he looks away.I move back and give him a look.

"I don't know-"."-Are you losing feelings?".

His eyes widen and he says "What?".

"These past days you've been acting really weird...You won't kiss me.And your usually way more needy for sex and at first I thought was annoying but in in a weird way, I miss it".

He looks at me shocked and I nod my head.I feel my eyes start to water and I sniffle.

"I don't know why I'm tearing up right now.Its just I never felt this way before and..god why am I acting like this.Im 26 years old and-".

He shakes his head quickly and picks me up and sets me down in his lap.

He cups my face and pulls me closer to him."Fuck no baby.No.Lose feelings for you?I fucking love you.I love you so much.You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.You are the reason my life isn't this constant boring cycle".

I pause and say "Really?".

Knox nods his head and kisses my forehead."Really,love".

I place my hand on his shoulder and look at him seriously."It's Ava isn't it?Shes giving you a hard time?You can quit.We all can help you find another-".

"-No.Its.its not her.Its just im adjusting to the real world you know".

I nod my head and he grips my waist."Im actually kinda tired right now.I was just waiting for you because i cant really sleep if you aren't cuddling me".

"Really?".

He nods his head before wrapping his hand around my waist.I quickly wrap my legs around his waist as he picks me up.I sets me on the bed and I lean back.

"How about we sleep like you like to do".

He looks at me confused and says "And how do I like us to sleep".

I tilt my head and pull my shirt off.He stares at me before I unclasp my bra.

"Like this"I say.

His eyes soften before he pulls shirt off and He climbs in the bed before pulling me in his embrace.

"You know I'm always down to feel your heartbeat like this"he says softly.

"Really?I thought his was your excuse to touch my tits in your sleep".

"Oh I do that but I really like hearing your heart belt.And your adorable whispers in your sleep".

"I do not talk in my sleep".He chuckles and says "Yea baby.You do".

"Shut up and cuddle me".He laughs and I kiss his cheek softly.
