He was wearing a black tuxedo and his curly hair was slick back.He look..dashing as always.

A soft smile graces his face as he stares at me.I smile back before looking away..I'm sure I would see him later.

I feel a rush of breeze flow to me as I turn my head."I'm sorry I'm late".

I glance down at his zipper and glare at Clay."Your zipper is down asshole".

He looks down before fixing it."I went to the bathroom-".

"-You think I didn't see you walk out of the bathroom with stupid blonde from the bar?"I hiss out.

He frowns at me and I sigh."Don't worry.We may be leaving London together.But there no fucking way I'm living in Australia with you.We will sell the apartment and we split it.Go over separate ways and I give you you're fucking ring back"I say.

"that's not what I want"."Maybe you shouldn't be fucking other woman".

"You think I don't know you're still fucking that freshman.Stop trying to be high and mighty,Jade".

I turn to him fully and smile."Thats precisely why I'm still fucking with that freshman,Clay.You will never be loyal and I can't believe I thought I could change you.Once a cheater,Always a cheater".

He glares at me and I say "You know there's nothing wrong with what I'm doing".

I lean forward and say "If you aren't going to sit here and support me,You can easily leave,Clay".

I look over to see a blonde woman smiling at me."I'm Astrid Carrington.Its nice to meet you".

"you're Knox's older sister?".

She smiles and says "Yes.Thats me".

She leans forward and says "Just for me,He's doing okay right?".

I nod my head and say "He's at the top of classes right now"."That's good.Knox isn't always the best at playing well".

"Hes playing well as of now".Astrid nods her head and looks at me.

"Whenever you're ready to go back to London,Let me know.I think we will be great friends".

I smile and say "I look forward to it".

She walks away and Clay walks away.I roll my eyes and walk over to the food table."Where's Knox"Brooks asks.

"I got no idea.He saw some girl and then he made a beeline outside".

"I would check on him but you know how Knox is.He can be a little..moody"Will says.

He locks eyes with me and walks over."You think you can talk to Knox?".

"Knox is a grown ass man.Why would I need to talk to him".

"Because it looks like he could use a talk from his bestfriend".

I look at Brooks taken back and say"Best..friend?".

"That's what he calls you.There wouldn't be another reason why you guys are so close right?".

"No.Not at all".I grab my drink and look around."I'll just check on him".They nod and I walk out to the back.
