I raise my eyebrow and says "Says who?"."Me!".
My mother shakes her head and says"Carrington I thought made it clear that my daughter will remain a Moreau".
"No way!Emerson is a perfect Carrington in the flesh!There is no one else who should be a Carrington!".
Mrs.Carrington pauses and glances over at Jade."Other than you of course dear".
Jade looking very pregnant smiles."Thank you Mrs.Carrington".
She jets back to her daughter says "Nadia make her a Carrington!I can't leave my precious daughter in law not have my last name!".
"Precious?"North asks.
Mrs.Hassan laughs as Astrid glares at her mom."I mean..Oh who am I kidding!Emerson is my perfect daughter in law!Please have my last name please!".
"No"I say shaking my head.
She and Nadia holds their head down as Knox casually walks in with drinks."It's hot as fuck out here.I don't know how you guys are still out here".
He gives us our drinks before kneeling down at Jade."You need anything Wildflower?A foot massage,Neck massage?"."I'm fine Baby".
Knox nods his head and kisses her forehead softly before going back in the house.
"I think the real award of best sister in law goes to Jade.She tamed Knox"North says.
We all nod in agreeement and Jade blushes."He isn't that bad"."Sure he isn't"I say.
"Can we get back to the matter at hand!"Mrs.Carrington says.
Mom growls and says"Give it up,Carrington.You aren't going to win this fight against my wife.If Spencer wants our daughter keep her last name then that's that".
"And If I want to..which I do"I add.
"Come on Green.Emerson Carrington.That has a nice ring to it right"."No"Both of my parents say.
I laugh and lean forward."That doesn't even sound right.How about this.How about I let you name our first born".
"Really???".
I nod my head and Ma shrugs."That is the same deal I cut your mother so ..I'm fine with it".
"Really?!?".
I nod my head and Nadia leans back."I'm satisfied"."Oh come on!"Mrs.Carrington says defeated.
"Hmm how about you take my last name while you're at it"I say smirking.
Mrs.Hassan jets her head to me and says"What?Since when?".
"I mean I've had a bunch of conversations with Nadia where she wants to name our firstborn after you.She can take my name if that's fair?".
Mrs.Hassan looks at me before laughing."Alright I can't hate that if I tried".
"What!No!That women is trying to take our influence away butterfly!".
"She's simply doing the same thing I did to you.If I told you to abandon the Carrington name for me what would you do?".
"I would abandon it in a heartbeat"Mrs.Hassan says.
"Then there you go.Emerson if you wish you can take my name.I personally think that is very sweet of you to allow Nadia to do so".
i shrug and say "That will be our daughter too in the future"."But what if it's a boy?"Knox says out of no where.
"Damn where the fuck did you come from".
He points to the patio and says "Through there".
He walks over and sits down in the empty chair beside Jade."What's wrong with having sons?I am literally about to have twin boys.You have something against boys".
"I simply know I will relate more to my daughter than my son.Of course I would love my son if me and Green have a son".
Knox rolls his eyes and says "That's a little scary.Maybe I don't want you to watching my sons".
"Wow.You know what you're a dick.You know that"."Am I?"Knox asks amused.
I shake my head and he leans back."What are we talking about?".
"If Emerson should get the Carrington name".
He looks at me confused and says "Didn't we have a conversation about this.And didn't Emerson tell us that she wasn't going to change her last name.Wasn't that the end of the conversation".
Mom points her finger to Knox and says "Thank fucking god.At least one of your children had some common sense".
"Woah hold up I wouldn't say that"Astrid says
"Oh shut up Astrid.You're just mad that my wife is moms favorite".
Banks tilts her head and says "We're you not listening at all.Its obvious that Emerson is my favorite".
She pauses and says"Then again Jade is my second favorite"."Ha in your face!"Knox says pointing at Astrid.
Astrid growls and says"You can't be serious Mom!You are choosing that twat over me".
"Twat?!?Who are you calling a twat you little shit!".
"Alright you two.Thats enough-"Mrs.Hassan starts to say.
"Well that may be said but I am Ma's favorite"Knox says casually.
Nadia steps up and says "Hold your horse there Kaiser.Who has her last name!Im her favorite oh don't bullshit me I-".-"Well both of you idiots shut up.Im their first born.That means that I'm both of their favorites!"Astrid says confidently.
Mrs.Carrington and Mrs.Hassan both look at each other before slowly looking away.
"Hey!Why aren't you two responding!".
Their parents continue looking away and drinking their tea.Astrid frowns as Knox and Nadia hold in their laughs.
"Because you obviously aren't either of their favorites.You may be their first born but that doesn't mean shit!"Knox says happily.
Astrid clenched her teeth at him and says "I missed when all you did was shit and cry"."And I miss when all you did was gush over North all day and leave me alone".
North laughs and says "Now this is a sibling rivalry.Its quite amusing"."Very"Jade says holding in her laugh.
"Hey don't laugh at us!Red I swear to god im going to make you regret it".
"oooh im so scared".Astrid grunts and says "I can't even believe that I have to look after you morons.Its quite saddening".
"Oh please you and North are going to be Rich aunties so that helps me and Knox out way easier"I say.
"Huh?"Astrid says.
Nadia chuckles and says "Whose going to watch our kids when we are business"."Don't you have wives for that?!?!".
"Oh no.But they will have a rich auntie to play futbol with"Knox says mischievous.
I nod in agreement and she points at the two of us."You two are one evil in law duo".
Me and Knox high-five and I shrug."All of this just states the fact that I am the favorite daughter in law.And I will remain a Moreau no matter what.Nadia wants to get closer?Take my last name".
"That's it Picasso!".
I nod my head as Mrs.Carrington and Nadia look defeated.
