He looks up from his eggs and stares at me."I wasn't welcome".

My eyes widen as Carson freezes."I simply helped the police when they came knocking at my door for information".

Carson lunges for him before Ashley and Will hold her back.They walk her away and Brooks glances at Knox.

Brooks gives me one glance before following his friends.I turn to Knox as he continues to drink his coffee.

I sense Liam coming over and I smile."I got us a table by the end".

I smile and say "Thank you Liam but I think I'm going to sit here".

He glances at Knox before nodding his head and walking away.I grab my breakfast and sit down across from Knox.

"Back to our other conversation.Why do you think you are not welcome".

Knox rolls his eyes and says "Can we not?I know what it feels like to be unwelcome.Ive known it all my 19 years of life".

I sigh as he looks over at his phone."Did you mean to ruin her with this?".
