It was summer time now.It was hot as fuck and I had a bunch of free time on my hands.But I wanted to start off my summer with some truth.

So I flew me and Knox down to Australia so he could meet my father offically and my family.

"You look nervous".

Knox tilt his head and says "Of course I'm fucking nervous! Im meeting your dad!"."Baby you've met my dad hundreds of times".

"Yes as Knox Carrington her student.Not as Knox Carrington her boyfriend.Are you sure he will be okay with this?".

My little sister waves her hand and says "Trust me as long as you're better than Clay ,you're a 10 in his eyes".

"He needs to increase his standards.There are a bunch of men out there better than Clay Benson"Knox says to her.

"Hey I'm just trying to help you out.You're the one freaking out".

Knox glares at her as I pull up to the house."So ..when he asks the story of how we got together.."."Tell him the truth"I say.

"That I hooked up with his daughter at a bar?"."Okay maybe not that.Just tell him that we met at a bar".

"But that we didn't hook up?".

Aspen snickers and says"How about excluding that from the conversation in general".

He frowns as I cup his face."You're going to do fine in there"."fine?!?!"he says panicking.

Right He's a Carrington.Anything less than great in his eyes is a loss.

"Great.Amazing.Perfect.Just relax and be yourself"."Don't be yourself.You're a little crazy"Aspen says.

"But.Jade likes it"Knox says sadly.

"I do like it.Aspen stop starting shit with my boyfriend".

Aspen holds her hands up defensively before getting out of the car.I get out and Knox slowly takes his time walking to the door with us.

I knock on the door and My father opens it."Oh! Great you are just in-".

He glances at Knox and tilts his head."Jay sweetheart why is your student here".

"I'm her boyfriend"Knox says happily.

My eyes shoot out like saucers as Knox smiles at my father brightly.

My dad's eyes go wide as Aspen jets her head to Knox."What the hell.What did we not just discuss in the car about taking things slow".

"I panicked!"Knox says nervously.

My fathers eyes darken and he says "What do you mean your my daughters boyfriend.Shes 28 and you are 22.Do you not see a problem with that?".

Knox shrugs and says "I don't see a problem with that at all,Mr.Phillips.I love your daughter very much.And I'm willing to do anything to get your approve".

"And what if I said that I don't like you "."Dad!"I hiss out.

"I wouldn't stop trying until you did like me.But in reality I don't care if you like me or not".

My eyes widen and I give Knox a look to shut up."Oh is that right"Dad says pissed.

"What matters to me is that you know that I would never hurt your daughter.And that my love for her is real.Because us getting along isn't for my sake,it's for hers".

I look at Knox shocked as Dad  narrows his eyes."Now I see why he's a psychology major".
