-POV Kaydi-

The interview was already a month ago. Helena and I talked for a long time that evening about Tim and Mia, but I haven't brought up the other topic yet. However, I think I should do it soon. It happened exactly three months ago. I was invited to a birthday party with Mia. Of course, I didn't cheat on Hellie there, but on the way home.

Mia thought it was a great idea to walk along a poorly lit alley. Well, in the end, we were assaulted by three men. The perpetrators were all arrested by the police, but nobody except Mia, the perpetrators, and me knows that I was also assaulted. I didn't want to end up in the media again.

Today is the court hearing where we both have to testify again. Thanks to Tim, it will be broadcast live on a website, and Helena knows the details through the media. That means she'll watch it to avoid running into Tim, and that means if the perpetrators mention that they took both of us, Helena will find out the truth. That wouldn't be so bad in itself, but I have this stupid feeling that I might be pregnant.

"Darling?" Hellie asks.

"Mhm?" I reply, lost in thought.

"Your taxi's here. Everything okay?"

"Yeah, of course, everything's fine. Just nervous about meeting the five," I reply.

"You can do it, okay? I believe in you. And if anything happens, call me, okay?" I nod and walk over to her. I wrap my arms around her and look deeply into her eyes.

"I love you so incredibly much, no matter what happens. Just so you know, okay?"

"What's wrong? I love you too, but what could happen?" I just give her a kiss, grab a jacket, and head out to the car.

There are a few fans outside the court. I go in and meet Mia there.

"Kaydi? Can I talk to you for a moment?" she asks, approaching me. I just nod and walk with her to a quieter area.

"Hey, I saw the interview... I wanted to apologize to you. I only thought of myself and didn't consider how you must have felt. I was so awful to you, but I don't want to lose you. You're still my best friend... I miss you. I know I was naive, and I really don't deserve to be forgiven, but I hope that one day we'll be friends again..."

"It's okay. I'll probably regret it, and I feel very betrayed, but everyone deserves a second chance. Except maybe a certain person standing over there, who seems to want to kill me with his gaze right now."

"Yeah, I know. I don't think everyone deserves a second chance, but do you remember our promise?" I nod.

"Everyone makes a mistake. You've used yours now..." She nods slightly, and an awkward silence ensues.

"Forgiven?" she asks.

"Not completely yet, but I will," I smile. She pulls me into a hug. I stand there feeling confused at first, but then I reciprocate. It feels both familiar and strange.

"Does Helena know?" Mia asks after we part ways.

"I was too scared. I regret it so much... Have you suffered any damage?" I inquire.

"Bruises, visible in the pictures, and fear of being touched. But almost back to normal. And you?"

"I've hidden the bruises well and haven't had sex with Hellie since then. And unfortunately, something that will be a part of my life forever, no matter how I or we decide..."

"Are you pregnant?!" she whispers loudly. I nod slightly.

"It's just a feeling..."

"Have you taken a test?" she asks immediately.

"Yes, but I have no idea what the result is. I packed it up and put it in my pocket so she wouldn't find it..." She takes me into a brief hug before leading me into the restroom. She reaches out her hand, so I retrieve the packaging. She unpacks the test and looks at it. Her eyes widen, and she looks at me in shock...
