The conversation happened three days ago, during which we went on many outings. Today is a regular beach day to relax a bit. The two children are playing in the water and collecting shells. Helena is sleeping and I'm reading a book, but I'm not very interested because I'm too distracted.

Since Hellie found out, she has been very clingy towards me and often asks how I am doing. She tries to take a lot of the burden off me, which works, but somehow, this whole topic doesn't leave us. My thoughts keep wandering back to this issue, but there has to be an end to it.

"Darling? I feel like going into the sea to cool off. Would you like to join me?" Helena asks. I nod, put my book down, and go to the sea with Helena. The children decide to swim with us, so we all walk out far and swim along the beach. We have spent most evenings playing games or taking a walk along the beach or in town. The town is very small and not well-known, so there aren't many people here. This makes the holiday really relaxing.

"Children, the car is here!" I call while checking all the cupboards in the house one last time. Unfortunately, we have to leave today. Helena's film is resuming soon, and I need to catch up on some phone calls. Of course, everyone knew we were on holiday, but all the emails still need to be answered.

"We're coming!" Nell shouts and comes to the door. Shortly after, Billy follows. They carry their bags to the car and I bring the suitcases.

"Have you got everything?" Hellie asks, who has been explaining the way to the jet to the driver. We all agree, and the driver sets off. At the airport, the stewardesses come to take us to the jet. Our suitcases are loaded, and about 30 minutes later, we take off. The children play together and listen to music. Helena leans against me and we watch a film together. As it's mostly a night flight and already late, the children soon fall asleep. Hellie also closes her eyes. I stop my film and lean against the window. I stare at the night sky and think about the holiday again.

We wanted a break. Without stress and worries, but unfortunately, it was marked by concern. The children had a great time. They didn't notice the tears. But Helena and I didn't get any rest at all. The issue never left me, and Helena noticed. She didn't say anything, but she definitely noticed. My looks, my absence, my lack of emotion. She noticed all of that.

Tears run down my cheeks. I regret telling her. This conversation has only made the chaos in my head worse. I feel more tears coming, but I quietly wipe them away. Helena is now fast asleep, as are the children.

I sit silently for the entire flight, looking out the window. Meanwhile, I listen to some music. Shortly before we reach London, Helena wakes up again. She sees my gaze fixed outside and turns my head towards her. She pulls me into a deep, intimate kiss that calms me and gives me reassurance.

"Whatever is going on in your little, sweet, clever, and beautiful head, you can always talk to me or tell me what you need. I am always here for you, my love. No matter when. No matter where. No matter the life situation. I will always be with you, and I hope you know that, no matter what comes our way. I will always stay with you and accept all your decisions." She pulls me into another kiss and the butterflies in my stomach do somersaults.

Sooooo... this is unfortunately probably the last chapter.

There might be a part 2 of the story, but we'll see.

I had a lot planned, but due to some personal matters, I am very unmotivated. I have ideas, but I lack the creativity to put them into a meaningful context...

I hope you're not mad at me xD

Best regards, your Kaydi...
