"Hey, little flower."

Oppa helped me up, and for some reason, I felt vulnerable for once. Jungkook lingered behind us, and we left the hospital in a matter of minutes. The sun chose just the right time to be so bright, didn't it? Oppa kept blabbering.

"Blah, blah, blah, blah, work too much, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, stressing, blah, blah, blah."

The only thing that kept me from falling asleep was Jungkook walking next to me. Whenever I was close to tripping, he'd put his hand on the small of my back to support me. We got into the car, and soon we were home.

"I'm going to make dinner. Stay here. You're not working for a while, young lady." Tae oppa said. I knew I couldn't argue with him, so I sat down on the couch. He headed for the kitchen and Jungkook sat next to me. He kept fidgeting, I could tell he was nervous.

"Y/n? I...want to talk."

"Yeah?"

He looked right into my eyes, which I had never noticed were a dark shade of brown. Jungkook reached his hand out but pulled back as if changing his mind.

"I want to know...about us. I've been wondering ever since," he looked down, "the kiss."

I stopped. Did he remember? My brain was short-circuiting. I thought about it, too, though I wouldn't want to admit he'd gotten my attention. He took my hands, gently holding them in his.

"I..."

I honestly had no answer. I didn't know.

"I don't know, Jungkook."

"Let's try it out...let's start with one date."

I squeezed his hands, the idea creating space for itself in my head. I was confused.

"One date?"

"One date."

"I'd love to."
