9. Their precious pt.2 🖤🤍

His eyes widen and jaw dropped.

James didn't expect this. Not at all.

He saw a young boy trying to touch a little girl who looked not more than five years old. She was crying and seemed to be afraid of him, but the boy kept trying to get close to her.

James gulped down his saliva through his dry throat as he thought what should he do. He didn't want any troubles as he had enough for already. But he can't really leave this girl alone with this boy who can be a kidnapper or child abductor. He can't risk the little girl's life. Even though his parents were cruel and didn't care about anyone's life, he hadn't really turn like them.... Yet.

And so he decided he will save her from this unknown kidnapper or whatever this man was. He stepped closer and when he was near he took his defensive pose.

"H-hey! Let g-go of the kid!" He shouted, his voice breaking from nervousness.

The boy turned his back and looked at James. James noticed it was someone familiar. Way too familiar. And then reality hit him hard.

"JAMES?!"

"NET?!" Both asked in unison as they didn't expect to meet each other like this.

"What are you doing with the kid? let her go you asshole!" James yelled while coming closer.

"Hey I am not harming her! I am trying to help her!" Net retorted after he rolled his eyes at the boy.

Both hated each other from the very start. From the moment they were born. And the reason was simple, their parents were rivals making them one too.

"I don't trust a bastard like you so you better let her go or I will throw this stone at you!" James lifted a big stone lying on the ground, threatening the boy. The girl kept crying as she backed away.

 "H-hey put that down! Are you crazy?!" Net screeched, stepping back not trusting James. He could do anything to him and Net won't be even surprised. After all, they hated each other.

Hated just because that's what they were supposed to do.

"You jerk didn't even spare a little girl? Are you even a human?! Leave her alone!" James said

"What do you think I'm doing here?! I'm trying to help the God damn girl! Put that fucking stone down!" James arches his one brow in confusion. Should he believe Net? Or should he really throw the stone at him?

Hell he will never throw that big ass stone at Net, he's not that heartless. But what if Net is the bad guy here?

"How can I believe you? You fuck around like there's no tomorrow! How can someone believe you? Give me one damn reason!" Net chuckles hearing James.

"I'm a man that's why I fuck around, and you're probably pleasing yourself with Tom and Jerry still now." Net laughs at James and James clenches the stone more, clearly not happy with what Net said right now.

"I'll really throw this stone at you if you say one more fucking word Net fucking Siraphop!"

"Why you are still holding that?! Put it down! I'm here to help the kid!" Net said

"You're probably here to fuck her oh God I don't wanna even imagine" James said

"That's too much you know right? I'm not a rapist. Why do you think so low of me? What did I ever do to you?" Net says as his tone gets low.

James regrets for what he said. Really he had gone too far, but Net always raged this unknown hatred in him. But still the 16 year old teenagers were too young to hate each other. Weren't they?

"I'm not sorry but I'll put this stone down. So you better not do anything" James grumbled while looking away. A smile absently crept on Net's lips, giving him a proper friendly look. Which was the first time for James to witness.

After putting down the stone James walked towards Net. Totally forgetting they were supposed to be enemies.

"And I'm telling the truth, I was helping the girl, but how are you here? Isn't it too late for a small baby like you to be out?" Net smirks at last word making James to smack his head.

"I can ask the same. Why are you here?" James asked

"I asked first" Net frowned and James sighed before telling him why he was here.

"Oh my, that's harsh for a baby like you. My parents always says these things but I don't run away from home though"

"Whatever now tell me why are you here?" James said

"Just for a walk"

"Here? Are you crazy?"

"I was on the highway road when my car broke down so I was out here looking for any garage, but then i heard screaming just like you and came here seeing this little girl crying like crazy so I was asking her why she's here and that moment you came, now you get it?"

"Oh" James smiles awkwardly regretting threatening him with a stone.

"You better not throw stone at people without knowing anything. I might be bad but not that bad to do something like you assumed" net said.

"Still I'm not sorry, by the way where is the girl?" James asked.

"She is right here-" net turns around and widen his eyes not seeing the little girl anymore.

"Oh shit! Where did the kid go?!" net said in shocked.

"Stupid why did you not notice her?! I was turning my back to her but you faced her! How can you not notice her leaving?!" net yelled.

"You kept me too busy with your shitty talks, how could I keep an eye on her?!" james said

"Ugh stop blabbering and let's go look for her! Or she will be really in the hand of a bad guy now" net said and with that Both boys began looking for the little girl they didn't even know.

Why they were so worried for a kid? Why did they care? Maybe even if they were becoming heartless like their parents, they still had a soft heart which their parents couldn't turn into a cold one, not yet.

They ran and looked everywhere around the place but couldn't find her.

And after a while they reached the highway while running and saw the little girl on the road.

"There is she!" James exclaimed as they both ran towards her but their eyes went to the truck, a truck which came at speed of light towards the girl.

"FUCK NO!"
