The rain was relentless, pounding the pavement with a rhythm that seemed to echo the turmoil in your heart. You stood motionless, your gaze fixed on the police officers who were canvassing the area with a sense of urgency that sent a chill down your spine. They were searching for someone, and that someone was you.
As one of the officers' eyes locked onto you, you knew the game was up. There was no flight, only acceptance. The officer approached with determined strides, his expression stern and unyielding. "So, you've been hiding here, huh, L/n Y/n," he said with a hint of triumph in his voice.
"L/n. You are under arrest for the murder of Kurokawa Izana," he declared, his words cutting through the sound of the rain.
You let your umbrella fall to the ground, no longer seeking shelter from the downpour. You extended your arms forward, ready for the cold embrace of the handcuffs. "I'm tired..." You murmured, a wry chuckle escaping your lips as you contemplated your restrained hands.
But just as you were about to be led away, a firm grip on your arm halted everything. "Where the hell do you think you're taking her?" The growl came from behind, fierce and protective.
Turning your head, your eyes met those of Sakura and the others, their presence a bittersweet reminder of what you were leaving behind. "I knew something was up...the way you seemed so ready to leave...it's like you almost knew this was going to happen..." Sakura's voice was soft, filled with confusion and hurt.
You offered him a melancholic smile. "I don't belong here, Sakura. I'm going to where I should've been a long time ago..."
Kiryu stepped forward, his plea earnest. "Officer, let's talk this out please."
The officer regarded him with skepticism. "You're protecting a murderer?" he questioned.
"She belongs here. You can't take her away," Kiryu insisted, his gaze unwavering.
The officer was unmoved. "I can assure you, there is enough evidence of her crime. She's played hide and seek enough now," he said as he attempted to pull you away, only to be blocked by Sakura.
"Sakura, just leave me be..." You whispered, freeing her arm from his grasp.
"I am not letting them take you," Sakura declared firmly.
The officer sighed. "It seems you should see the evidence." The anonymous CCTV footage left no room for doubt, silencing any protest.
"Do you want to see more, or will that be enough?" the officer challenged.
Sakura's eyes were fixed on you, torn between disbelief and pain. "Don't follow me. And please stay out this,. Pretend you never met me" You said with finality before being escorted away.
The locals watched in stunned silence as the scene unfolded before them. Sakura's anger flared as he made to intervene but was stopped by Umemiya's firm grip and silent command.
"You are seriously going to let them take her away?!" Sakura spat out in disbelief.
"Look around you, Sakura. Everyone is watching; they've got evidence and knowing you; you were definitely going to tackle those officers down. Do you also want to head to jail?" Umemiya reasoned with him.
And so, amidst the chaos of emotions and the relentless downpour, you were taken away, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and broken hearts.
The cafe was steeped in a somber atmosphere as the boys huddled around a worn-out table, their coffee untouched, their minds burdened with heavy thoughts. "My question is...why did they decide to arrest her after 2 years...what happened to the evidence before then...?" Suo's voice trailed off, his question hanging in the air like the steam from their cups.
"It doesn't add up," Kiryu added, his brows furrowed in deep thought. "There's something we're missing, something crucial that's been overlooked."
Determination was etched on Sakura's face as he stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. "We need to head to Yokohama; we cannot sit here and just wonder about everything. We need to find out ourselves now," he declared, his voice resonating with a sense of urgency.
"First step is to find out more about Tenjiku. Y/n never told us everything about her gang, so now we have to dig deeper... who were their enemies, how many were their enemies, if there were any deals being made... everything..." Sakura's plan was clear, and it set a fire in the hearts of his companions.
Umemiya watched Sakura, a silent understanding passing between him and Hiragi. "He doesn't realize it... does he...?" Hiragi whispered, concern lacing his words.
Umemiya simply nodded. "I agree with Sakura," he said aloud, giving his support to the plan.

The chime of the doorbell cut through the heavy silence, drawing all eyes to the entrance. The last person they expected to see walked in, causing a ripple of shock to pass through the group.
Togame and Tomiyama.
"Wahh... so this is the cafe you guys always hang out at..." Choji's voice trailed off as he stepped inside, his gaze sweeping over the somber faces. "Ume-chan... why do you look so miserable...?" he asked, walking over with a puzzled look.
"Yikes... this whole room is miserable..." Togame added quietly, his eyes scanning the cafe's interior.
The unexpected visit from Choji and Togame, two figures they hadn't anticipated seeing in such dire times, shifted the atmosphere. It was clear they knew about your situation.
But why are they here...?
