As you lay in Sakura's lap, you couldn't shake off the feeling that something was bothering him. His thumbs gently caressed your eyelids, and a small smile graced his lips, but his eyes held a different story. A story of worry and fear."Sakura...what are you thinking about?" you asked, looking up at him with concern etched on your face. His thumbs stilled for a moment before resuming their soothing motion.
"It's nothing, princess. Nothing for you to worry about," he said, smiling down at you. But you could sense his lie, and you were determined to get to the bottom of it.
"Don't lie to me, please. Tell me what you're thinking about..." you said, gently cupping his cheeks and bringing his face down to yours. You pecked his nose, hoping to lighten the mood.
Sakura looked down at you, his eyes searching yours for a moment before he spoke. "Y/n, I'm really okay, I'm just worried about you that's all."
You sighed, knowing that changing the topic was the only way to get him to relax. "You're lying..." You mumbled to yourself
Sakura carefully lifted you up into his arms, your head resting against his chest. He slid his hand under your top and drew soothing shapes on your tummy, causing you to let out a contented sigh.
"Sakura...what do you think the future will be like?" you asked, looking up at him with a small smile.
Sakura continued to draw shapes on your tummy, his smile widening as he thought about the future. "Hmm, a lot more peaceful...with our kids running around..."
Your heart swelled at his words, and you couldn't help but smile. "Do you want kids?" he asked, leaning in closer to you.
Your smile widened, and you nodded. "I do..."
Sakura pressed his lips against your neck, causing a shiver to run down your spine. "You'll be a great mother, Y/n," he whispered, his breath warm against your skin.
You closed your eyes, a stray tear escaping down your cheek. "And you'll be a great father..." you whispered.
Sakura leaned down and pressed his lips against yours, causing your heart to flutter.
The moment was interrupted by Kiryu's giggle, causing you and Sakura to pull apart and look towards the door.
"You don't have any manners..." Sakura rolled his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Hey, I actually did knock, but I didn't get no response, so I had to open the door..." Kiryu pouted, holding up a tray of food.
"Also, I got a perfect snapshot hehe..." Kiryu giggled as he showed his phone. "I'm creating an album of all our special moments, hehe."
Sakura let out a chuckle as he got up from the bed, placing you gently back down. "Well, don't post that one online," he said, a playful smile on his lips.
