Chapter 17

"Now." Ivy said.

She looked scared, but also determined.

"Yeah, we probably should get out of here." Theseus responded.

The siblings helped Newt to the door, where the other aurors were waiting.

"We need to find a way to get out of here." Theseus said.

The aurors nod and began searching the place for anything useful. Suddenly, Ivy heard footsteps coming down the stairs to the basement where they were.

"Shhhhhh!" she hisses, signaling for everyone to be quiet.

The door opens to reveal a girl with blonde hair to her waist. She had grey eyes and Ivy immedietly recognized her. 

"Ashley!"she exclaimes.

"Help us!" 

Ashley just nods, handing Ivy a bunch of wands.

Ivy gives the wands to Theseus, except for her own, and he hands them out to their owners.

While passing Ashley, Ivy mutters a quick "thanks" and the group walked out into the eriee mansion above.

"Let's get out of here." Theseus said.

They all agree and start walking out.

Suddenly, a stunning spell is shot at one of the aurors. He collapses on the ground, loosing consciousness.

"And where do you think you're going?" Grindelwald asks from behind.

The group slowly turned around, facing him. They see the aurors left to keep guard are levitated in the air, bound by invisible ropes.

Theseus whispered in Ivys ear.

"Go back to the ministry with Newt, get back-up." he whispered.

"I love you."

Ivy nodded and whispered a "I love you too" before running for the door with Newt.

Ivys POV:

I run. I run as fast as I can. 

I'm running towards an empty alley to dissapparate back to the ministry. They need back-up. What if Theseus's dead already?

I shake away the thought. He can't be.

Beside me, Newt's trying his best to keep up. He's stumbling a bit, but there's no time to stop. Or slow down. We need to hurry.

I arrive at the alley.

"You 'kay?" I ask Newt.

He nods slightly and although I don't believe he is, I respond with "Good".

I grab my wand and Newts arm and apparate to the ministry.

It's late. Very late. 

When we arrive, there's nearly no one left. I run towards the elevators with Newt and press the button Daisy pressed last time. 9.

The elevator shoots upwards and I just stand there waiting.

"Come on...hurry..." I mutter under my breath.

The elevator comes to a stop and the doors open. I rush forward with Newt behind me and we stop at the first door. It says "Diggory" on it and I knock three times.

There's the sound of papers being put away and a chair being moved. Then the door opens. In the doorframe stands a tall woman with short dark-blonde hair.

"They need help at Malfoy manor...Grindelwald..." I manage to say.

Diggory just nods and walks past me into the hallway, knocking on other doors. Another auror walkes up to me and tells me to go to St.Mungos with Newt. I nod, my shift wasn't finished anyway when Theseus called me.

I grab Newt's arm and we walk back to the elevator. 

Once the doors open once again, me and Newt step out and walk to the apparation point. 

I apparate to St.Mungos.

There's only one thing I can think now.

Please, hurry aurors, they really need help.

Theseus stunned another follower. 

Ivy had left about 5 minutes ago and there was stil no back-up. Sure, it takes some time to apparate and gather all the aurors but they needed help. Desperately. They were losing the fight.

Quite a few of Grindelwalds followers had came to the mansion. Hopefully, Grindelwald wouldn't get away this time.

Suddenly, the doors burst open to reveal almost all the aurors in the department. The only ones missing were a few, that Theseus guessed, were ordered to stay at the ministry just in case something happened.

But Ivy wasn't there.

Was she okay? Theseus didn't know. He would just have to wait and see, clearly she had gotten to the ministry. If something happened to her or Newt there, there would be people who could help them.

Right now, Theseus had to focus. They might be able to capture Grindelwald, once and for all.
