Chapter 19

Ivy was walking home from work.

She still couldn't believe it.

Pandoria had asked if she wanted to be her girlfriend.

It was unreal.

Although it had already been two days since that happened.

She took out her keys from her pocket and unlocked her appartement door, stepping inside to the mess that was always there. Ivy sighed and took off her jacket, she really needed to find some time to clean.

Warming up some more leftovers, Ivy sat down at her small table and began to eat. The food wasn't the best but it was edible, which in Ivys opinion was the most important.

She was really a terrible cook.

Suddenly, Ivy heard the sound of an owl tapping on her window. She immedietly walked over, letting the owl into her appartement. 

The owl let her grab the letter, then waited patiently for her respond.

Ivy opened the letter, curious of what was in it.

Dear Ivy,

I was wondering if you would like to go on a date tomorrow afer work?

I can come pick you up at 6, then we can maybe go somewhere?

Waiting for your owl,

Pandoria

Ivy smiled.

Of course she would like to go on a date with Pandoria, why wouldn't she?

Now she really looked forward to tomorrow.

Ivy grabbed the bucket of feed she had prepared and walked over to the mooncalves, feeding them.

Looking at the time, Ivy hurried up the feeding and then walked back to the shed where Newt was sitting, preparing more feed.

"I have to go now." Ivy said.

Newt looked up, surprised.

"Why?" he asked.

"I have something to do." Ivy answered.

Newt looked at her, a grin forming on her face.

"Is it a date?" he asked jokingly.

Ivy blushed. Well, Newt had guessed correctly, but she couldn't tell him that. 

"No, just meeting up with a friend." she responded in the most normal voice she could, although it did end up a bit more high pitch than usual.

"Sinnie?" Newt suggested.

Ivy nodded. It was probably best to just say yes.

"Then why were you blushing?"

Ivy froze.

"I-I wasn't b-blushing!" she stammered.

"Yeah right." Newt said with a snort.

"I need to go now anyway." Ivy said, leaving the basement and walking out of the door to head home and change.

Once she unlocked the door and stepped into her messy appartement, she immedietly walked to her bedroom. 

She opened her wardrobe, looking for something to wear.

Ivy didn't have many fashionable clothes, since she didn't use them. But she had a skirt that she really liked. It was also probably her only skirt.

She grabbed the blue jeans skirt from under a pile of normal jeans and then began looking for a shirt.

Ivy found a yellow knitted sweater that was slightly see-through, so she put a white tank-top on underneath.

She also found a pair of black leggings to wear.

"This will do." Ivy thought.

She put her hair in a simple braid down her back and but on her necklace with the pearls she had worn when she had been kidnapped by Grindelwald. Last but not least, she put on some gold hoop earrings.

Then she heard the doorbell ring from the living room. 

"It must be Pandoria." Ivy thought.

After one last look in the mirror, Ivy put on her black boots that were slightly high-heeled and opened the door.

 There she found Pandoria, looking nervous.

But she was beautiful.

She was wearing a green dress, with some black boots that were almost identical to Ivys. Her hair was tied in a loose knot, and she was wearing diamond stud earrings. She was truly beautiful.

"We should probably get going." Pandoria said.

"Yeah we should." Ivy responded.

Pandoria reached out her hand for Ivy to take and Ivy accepted it gratefully.

Hand in hand, they walked down the streets of London. The streets Ivy had grown up in.

She remembered all the night walks she would take with her brothers and their mother during summer break. 

It was always wonderful. 

And now she could enjoy the wonder once more, but this time with her girlfriend, Pandoria Longbottom.
