Ivy and Pandoria were walking towards Diagon Alley for their date, since Pandoria had decided for them to go to the new restaurant there.
They arrived at the leaky cauldron and Ivy tapped the right bricks with her wand so they could enter.
Once they stepped onto the street, they continued making their way to the restaurant, talking about work.
When the restaurant came into view, Ivy suddenly got nervous. What if somebody there was homophobic and they had to leave? Well if the restaurant was homophobic, they wouldn't want to eat there anyway.
They stepped inside and was greeted by a waiter.
"Have you reserved a table?" the waiter asked.
Pandoria and Ivy shook their heads no.
"Well then you can wait in the waiting room." the waiter said, showing them the way to a small room with a few chairs in it.
Pandoria and Ivy sat down on two of the chairs and were happily engaged in converation when an old lady walked up to them.
"Are you two dating?" she asked.
"Yes we are." Pandoria responded, giving Ivys hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Well that's weird, it's unatural. God created two genders to love each other." the old lady said rudely.
"And so? We don't care. Now quit harrasing us on our date." Pandoria sneered angrily.
The old lady looked offended.
"This is so gross, two women in love!" she exclaimed.
Pandoria gave Ivys hand a squeeze and together they walked out of the restaurant, not bothering to look back at the furious old woman.
"Are you okay?" Pandoria asked Ivy.
Ivy nodded. This wasn't the first time someone had said that. Unfortunately, homophobia was common in the wizarding world as well.
"How about we go to my place instead?" Pandoria suggested.
"Sounds good." Ivy responded.
Then toghether, the two girls walked hand in hand out of Diagon Alley.
--------------------------------------------------
"Bye!" Ivy shouted over her shoulder to Pandoria.
After leaving Diagon Alley, Pandoria and Ivy had walked back to Pandorias appartement, that was much cleaner than Ivys, and they had watched a muggle movie.
Ivy heard Pandoria saying bye from inside, so she started walking off towards her own appartement.
About halfway there, Ivy saw a man, that looked drunk, walking towards her. She sped up and continued walking, ignoring the man, but the man didn't ignore her back.
"And what's a beautiful young lady like you doing out here so late alone?" he asked.
Ivy just simply continued walking, not bothering to look at the man.
Suddenly, the man shoved her hard, causing Ivy to collide with a lamp post.
"I asked what you were doing out late!" the man yelled at her.
Ivy looked at him but then continued to walk. Jacobs bakery wasn't far from here, maybe she could go there.
Unfortunately, there was a flight of stairs before the bakery.
When Ivy arrived at the stairs, the man got angry and started yelling at her.
"ANSWER MY QUIESTION!" he screamed.
When Ivy still didn't answer, he instead pushed her with all his might down the stairs.
Ivy screamed out in surprise, falling way to fast towards the ground. She instictively streched out her arms to catch herself, but instead, she heard a sickening crack in her wrist as her entire body weight came down on it.
Ivy screamed out again, but this time in pain.
The drunk man had caught up to her by now, and grabbed her by her left wrist, the one that had just been broken and pulled her up.
Ivy screamed once more, tears rolling down her face.
The man then began twisting Ivys wrist, causing her to scream even more.
Jacobs bakery wasn't far from here at all. Maybe Jacob would hear her screaming...
-----------------------------------------------
Jacob's was just preparing to close for the day when he heard screaming.
He immedietly walked outside, abandoning the dishes he was doing.
A few feet away from his bakery, he saw Ivy, pushed against a lamppost, with a drunk guy standing over her. She was crying.
When Ivy saw Jacob, she started screaming again.
"Jacob! Help!" she screamed.
Jacob walked over to the lamppost and seized the guy off Ivy.
"You leave her alone, understand!?" he asked.
The guy smirked.
"And who's this? Your boyfriend?" he asked in a mocking tone.
Jacob didn't respond, instead, he slapped the guy.
The guy looked taken aback, and quickly walked away, leaving Ivy and Jacob standing alone.
"Are you okay?" Jacob asked Ivy.
Ivy slowly nodded, trying to move her wrist.
It hurt terribly.
"I'll foIIow you home." Jacob said, grabbing Ivys arm gently.
They walked back to Ivys appartement.
"Thanks." Ivy said.
"No problem." Jacob said before closing the door and heading back to his bakery.
