KNOX
Age 18

I've heard stories about life after high school from my parents and my sister,Astrid.Hell even from North,my sister's fiancee.

'It's what you do with your accomplishment is what matters'..

Or at least thats what Grandpa Carrington used to tell me before he passed away.

The second that you cross that stage and get that diploma, you open yourself to a new world.

Something you never thought of..Adulthood.

And while Adulthood may seem scary and set up to be a bunch of life threatening decisions. Its not.

Life is a set of choices.
Bad choices.
Good choices.
Hasty choices.
Thoughtful choices.
Loving choices.

It's what you do with those choices that make everyone's life different.

That's why I pride myself on being the best that I could be so I could make the most of life.I was a Soccer star mostly all of my high school career.

I made a name for myself too. But this was a chance to start a new hobby.Make a new name for myself.

My life was a set of choices that ended me up here.

A upcoming freshman at Callister Academy. One of the most prestigious academies in London.

Im a legacy, and a long line of Carrington's that have thrived at Callister.

My grandfather Robert Carrington was a CEO of one the biggest tech company's the world has seen.

And my uncle,Austin Carrington retired from the NFL and took over the company, converting it to a Security company.

My mother Banks Carrington graduated at the top of her class and now she was a politician for the government.

And it didn't stop there with my older sister,Astrid Carrington.

She was in her second year of playing for New York's professional Soccer team.

But this was my story.
Knox Carrington's story of greatness..

To graduate from the top school in the country with a psychology degree.

A way to help others and pave a better path to understanding humans better.Start my own research firm and make a shit ton of money.

That was my way of thinking.
I wanted to build a name for myself and others to help them find their way..So I wasn't just Banks Carringtons' middle child.

Or the son of Zoe Hassan.

I was Knox Hassan-Carrington.

Future Graduate of Callister Academy in Psychology.

But make no mistake,I was like my parents.I had that Carrington drive to be the best and our ability to be possessive of things we hold dear.

And I also had that Hassan Trait of standing my ground when I thought something was right.

Nadia led more to acting like mom,And Astrid led more to acting like Ma. Not me though.
.

I was a perfect replica of both of my mothers. My bright blue eyes and thick British accent which was a stable of the Carrington name and my Ma's curly brown hair.A stable of the Hassan Name.
But I was still my own person.

I took everything that I learned from being both a Carrington and Hassan to make myself better.

I cared for others like Ma and still saw the bullshit in other people like Mom.
But this is different.

This was my freshman year.I know all the stories about freshman years at Callister.I know how they can turn into a disaster.

But not mine,I'm going to make the most of my time here.
Make a good set of friends and hell maybe even find an amazing girl.

Who knows?!?

This college year will be the perfect way to show both of my parents that I could be the best I could.

All of my life I was in both of my sisters' shadows. But this??This was my way to stand out.

I love my sisters to death,I do. I've just have a strong motivation to do better for myself.

And that all starts with thriving at Callister like my family did before me.
