Rack off
Part 2

The line for the Slay Ball stretches out before us, buzzing with anticipation. Missy and I are killing time by fiddling with the lights on Ant's jacket, laughing as they flicker in bright bursts of neon. The glow reflects off Missy's jewellrey, making her sparkle in the dim evening light. As I glance around, my eyes land on Amerie, Darren, and their group approaching us. My heart skips a beat when I see Cash walking alongside them. I can't help but smile, lifting a hand to wave him over.

"Hey, Cash!" I call out, grinning as he breaks away from the group and heads in our direction.

He greets me with a warm hug, and I lean back slightly, noticing something off about his face. I flick at the thong that over his face with a curious smirk.

"Hey, Ang," he mutters, pulling the thong off and revealing a black eye. My mouth drops open in shock.

"What the hell?" I ask, my voice laced with concern.

He sighs, shaking his head with a resigned expression. I place a hand on his shoulder, giving him a sad smile. "You need some new friends, hun," I tell him gently.

He nods, his lips twitching in agreement but saying nothing.

Trying to shift the mood, I reach into my pocket and pull out some money, ready to pay him. "Anyway, how's Darren?" I ask casually, holding the cash out toward him.

Cash's eyebrows shoot up in surprise, and he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly. Before I can press the money into his hand, he pushes mine back toward me, shaking his head.

"Nah, Ang. On the house," he says firmly.

I blink, confused. "What? Why?"

"You buy so much shit from me anyway. Just enjoy your night," he says, shoving a little more into my hand than I even asked for. His lips quirk into a smile, and he nods toward Ant.

I laugh, catching his meaning, and nod back toward Darren. Cash walks away with a big grin plastered across his face, clearly pleased with himself.

"Thanks, Cash! I owe you one," I call after him as he disappears into the crowd.

I glance at Ant and hand him one of the little pills. He smiles at me, and we both take it at the same time, locking eyes as we hope to trip together. My gaze shifts, and I spot Amerie a little ways off, deep in conversation with Harps.

"Oh, thanks," Amerie quips sarcastically, her tone dripping with venom. She places her hands over her chest in a mock display of sentimentality. "They're the only thing of yours I didn't burn."

I roll my eyes, leaning toward Ant and whispering, "Here they go again."

He chuckles, shaking his head as the tension between Amerie and Harper becomes palpable.

Dusty, tries to defuse the situation. "Oh, look at you," he says brightly, lifting the edge of his unbuttoned shirt to reveal his glitter-covered stomach.

"Acting like you've never seen a Blackfulla before, hey?" Malakai teases, grinning as he dabs Dusty up.

Malakai throws in a little dance for good measure, his body moving with easy confidence, but then his smile falters. I follow his gaze and see Spider glaring at him, chewing his gum with a ferocity that's almost laughable.

Malakai doesn't let it slide. "Go on, then. Take a picture—I'm a lovely ting, aren't I?" he says, his voice dripping with sass. "Don't go projecting your shit 'cause you feel inadequate."
