016 Don't be sarcastic Miss

Part 1 

Missy pulls into school in her red car, I was wearing an oversized pink jersey and baggy jeans. Upon coming in we see Amerie, Darren, Quinni and Harper I watch Amerie and Malakai make some intense eye contact. I roll my eyes and giggle slightly. Malakai looks back at me and shakes his head. Missy pulls the car into park and we look at each other. Before we get out the car I pass Missy her red bag and get out the back seat of the car. I meet Malakai at the boot of the car watching Darren wave at us standing next to Amerie across the car park. I wave at Darren and Malakai smiles until Missy meets us there and we watch as Amerie quickly pulls Darren away from us. Missy lets out a shocked exhale. 

"Brutal," She says and I nod, Malakai stammers. 

"She probably just didn't see me," He reasons and I laugh a little. 

"Do you care? Given what we yarned about over the holidays?" She asks furrowing her brows. 

"Yeah about that can we just keep that between us three?" He asks and I smile. 

"I gotcha, Kai. No stress," I say placing my hand on his shoulder.  

"Thanks, I don't really need anymore drama in my life," Malakai says. 

"You want a drama free life, stay clear from Amerie. That bitch is like Eris. Chaos and Strife just follow her" Missy says. Malakai chuckles. 

"Who's Eris?" He questions and I let out a laugh. 

"Shouldn't have asked her that Kai," I say quietly laughing and Missy shoves my shoulder. 

"Goddess of Disaster, I'm really into mythology at the moment. It is sick," Missy says happily. We walk into the quad and I see Amerie, Darren, Harper and Quinni talking to Spider and Ant. My eyes linger on him longer than they should and obviously Malakai sees but before he says anything Missy beats him to it. 

"What the fuck happened to him Ant? He looks like Dusty from Wish," Missy says and I laugh nervously. 

"Yea my brother told me he said and I quote 'Someone has to be the hot guy at Hartley now," I say quietly. My brother had told me that in the holidays. My heart sank when he did, was he doing this because of what I said? was this all my fault that he was acting different? no he was just doing this on his own account its not my fault. surely.  

"Oh god, poor guy," Malakai says and I nod. We sit on a bench, and coincidentally or it was my subconscious made me sit the way so I was looking at Ant and Missy and Malakai sitting the other side. I listen to them talk but I don't really I just stare at him. He hasn't noticed me yet, whether thats a good thing or not I don't really know. That is until I see Darren see me and smile and I smile back. They turn around and I watch Ant and my brother's eyes shoot up and we make eye contact. My head shoots down to Malakai and Missy. 

"Fucking hell, Lina whats wrong?" Missy asks but turns to see the group looking at us and she turns around and gives me a seriously look. "Hun get over him its not worth it," 

"Yea, if I can get over Amerie you can get over him too," he says placing his hands on my shoulders. 

"I know," I say. I glance back up and see Amerie pointing a toy gun at Spider and she sprays something. "No you're fucking joking," I say annoyed with Amerie already and standing up walking over to my brother. I watch everyone gasp.  

"We have been at school for what 5 minutes and you two are already fucking arguing, what did I fucking say Spencer," I say to them whispering the last part to my brother. They both ignore me I watch my brother lick his face where she sprayed him. Ant brings a finger to his face wiping a bit off licking it too.
