Angeline
Part 2

I had wanted Missy to come over and get ready with me, but she said she couldn't. She was coming late with her brother and didn't want to hold me up. While I was a little disappointed, I didn't dwell on it too much. Instead, I focused on the silver lining: I had somehow managed to convince the boys to dress up with me. Well, mostly. Spider and Dusty needed a bit of coaxing, while Ant was already on board from the start.

Ant decided to go as a grim reaper–skeleton hybrid, Spider settled on Dracula, and Dusty chose to be a knight. With their outfits sorted, I was putting the final touches on my own costume. I had already slipped into my blue corset, mini skirt, and fishnets. Now, I was working on my makeup—painting my face and neck with a light blue base, adding darker blue contours and glittery blue eyeshadow. A pair of fluttery lashes and a swipe of red lipstick completed the look.

As I leaned closer to the mirror, blending the last bit of color, I noticed the boys filtering into my room. They plopped themselves onto my bed, watching me with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

I turned to them, raising an eyebrow. "What's up? Why are you all staring at me like that?"

They exchanged glances before Dusty finally sighed. "They want you to do their makeup," he said, pointing to Spider and Ant on either side of him.

A grin spread across my face. "Of course, you do." I motioned for Spider. "Alright, come here. I'll do you first."

I pulled a spare chair out from under my vanity, gesturing for him to sit down. "So, what's the vision, Spider? What do you need me to do?"

He leaned forward, studying his reflection in the mirror before shrugging. "I dunno. Just... whatever makes me look like a vampire, I guess."

I laughed, shaking my head. "Alright, Dracula, let's make it happen."

I grabbed my black eyeliner and eyeshadow palette, dusting the shadow onto the outer corners of his eyes for a smoky, brooding effect. Then, I lined his bottom waterline. He flinched dramatically, groaning about the eyeliner, but he sat still enough for me to finish.

I tapped his shoulder. "All done, hun. You're looking spooky as hell. Ant, you're up next."

Spider stood, inspecting himself in my full-length mirror with a satisfied grin. "Not bad," he said before flopping back onto the bed next to Dusty.

Ant took the chair, his excitement practically radiating off him. "Okay, cutie," I said with a teasing smile. "What's your request?"

"I wanna be a skeleton. Can you do that?" he asked, his face lighting up like a little kid.

"Of course, I can. I'm Angelina freaking White—I can do anything," I replied with a wink, making him laugh.

I grabbed a beauty blender and dabbed it into the white face paint palette I'd used for my own costume. I lightly applied it to his skin, just enough to give him a pale, eerie look without completely covering his natural complexion. Then, I took a brush and carefully contoured his cheekbones with black paint, deepening the hollows to mimic a skeletal structure.

I stepped back to check my work, then dusted some shading onto his chin and blended it lightly toward the center of his lips. His nose was next—I painted it black, shaping it into an upside-down triangle like a classic skeleton. Around his eyes, I created bold black circles, filling them in completely before adding two parallel lines running from his brows to his hairline.

Finally, I painted a line extending from either side of his mouth, connecting it to the dark contours of his cheekbones. Thin vertical lines through the mouth line gave the illusion of teeth. To top it off, I applied black lipstick for extra drama.
