"So who's your Valentine this year, Dax?" Abi nudges Dax playfully, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"You, baby!" Dax winks at me. I roll my eyes and push him away, pretending to gag.

"You wish!" Abi laughs, her grin widening. "Noa is a million out of ten, while you, my friend, are at best a seven."

"SEVEN?" Dax exclaims, his face contorted in mock offense.

I can't help but burst out laughing. "I love you, Abi," I giggle, feeling a rush of affection for my best friend.

Abi sends me an air kiss while Dax is still hung up on the number seven. "I am not a seven! I can't believe you just said I was a seven!"

"Oh, come on, Dax! You're so stupid!" Abi rolls her eyes, a cheeky smile playing on her lips.

"If I'm only a seven, how come I have three Valentines this year?" Dax asserts with a smug smirk.

I gasp, "You're such a dick! You can't have three Valentines!" I shake my head in disbelief.

"Sure I can, and you can be my fourth!" Dax leans in and plants a quick kiss on my cheek.

"Ew, gross! Maybe you should lay off the drinks; you're having some seriously weird thoughts," I tease, trying to mask my own discomfort.

"Just because you had a traumatic drinking episode with your ex doesn't mean I will!" Dax smirks, clearly enjoying the banter.

"Dax!" I gasp in mock horror, my heart skipping a beat at the mention of my ex.

Abi turns to me with wide eyes, her curiosity piqued. "What?! Who?!"

I haven't told her about Harry re-entering my life... yet. I take a deep breath, feeling my anxiety rise. I guess now is the time.

"I'm Harry's producer," I mumble reluctantly, barely meeting Abi's gaze.

"Sorry, what was that?" Abi leans in closer, pretending not to have heard me. She always does have a flair for the dramatic.

"I'm Harry's producer," I repeat, this time louder.

"Harry Styles, her ex is the one we've been working with lately," Dax interjects, earning an eye-roll from me.

I sigh, feeling the need to explain. "I'm sorry, Abi. It's just complicated, and I didn't know how to tell you. I wasn't even sure how I felt about it."

"When did this start?" Abi asks, her brow furrowed.

"We started working together on January 6th," I admit, scratching my neck awkwardly.

"You know the date?!" Abi exclaims, surprised.

"Yeah, is that weird?" I ask, glancing between Abi and Dax. Dax shrugs and Abi looks at me like I'm a ghost.

"You deliberately didn't tell me? You didn't forget?!" Abi presses, hurt evident in her voice.

"I'm sorry, Abi. I didn't want to add more stress, especially since there's nothing going on between us. He's engaged!" I try to explain hurriedly.

"Oh, except for when he helped you on his birthday!" Dax chimes in.

"Engaged?! His birthday?!" Abi's eyes widen at this new revelation.

"We threw him a surprise birthday party that you missed because you were in LA," I explain weakly.

"And then?" Abi demands, clearly wanting all the details.
