"Hey, what are you doing?" Harry asks as he walks into the studio, a sandwich in hand and a satisfied grin on his face.

I glance over my shoulder and pull off my headphones. "Oh, just working. Editing and clipping some stuff." I pause, a thought crossing my mind. "Actually, could I get you to do some ad-libs?"

"Yeah, for sure," Harry replies with a nod, still chewing. He looks at me thoughtfully for a moment before swallowing his bite. "I'm ready to help."

"So remember that freestyle session we did last week?" I ask, pulling up the track.

He nods. "Mh-hmm."

"I've made some slight changes to the lyrics and I also have some ideas for adding depth," I explain.

"Wow, let me hear it," he says, walking over to me and settling down on my desk.

"Here are the revised lyrics. They're quite similar, just a few tweaks you can look through it," I say, handing him my notebook.

He takes the notebook from my hand, his fingers brushing against mine briefly sending a thrill through me. As he flips through the pages, his eyes scan the revised lyrics with a focused intensity.

"These are good," he murmurs, looking up at me. "I like the changes."

"Thanks," I reply, feeling a sense of satisfaction. "I thought the original lines were great, but these tweaks should add more impact."

Harry nods thoughtfully, then looks back at the notebook. "I see what you mean. The flow feels tighter now."

"Exactly," I say, pulling up the track on my computer. "I've also got some ideas for the background vocals and harmonies. I think we can really make this track a hit."

He grins, the excitement in his eyes mirroring my own. "Let's do it."

I hit play, and the room fills with the familiar beat of our track. As the music plays, Harry begins to hum along, testing out the new lyrics under his breath. I can see the wheels turning in his mind, already thinking of ways to enhance the song.

"Maybe we could add a call-and-response here," he suggests, pointing to a particular verse. "It could give it more energy."

"Great idea," I agree, scribbling down notes. "And what if we layer some harmonies in the chorus? It would give it a richer sound."

Harry nods enthusiastically. "Yeah, that would be awesome. Let's try it." He gets up and walks into the vocal booth.

I slip my headphones back on and adjust the microphone. "Can you hear me?" I ask, my voice clear through the speaker system.

"Mh-hmm," Harry nods, his eyes focused and attentive.

"Great. Okay, I want you to sing it all the way through, and then we'll see how it feels," I instruct, my tone encouraging.

He nods again, taking a deep breath to steady himself.

"Ready?" I ask, looking at him through the glass of the vocal booth.

Harry gives a determined nod, his fingers tapping lightly against his thigh in time with the rhythm. I watch as he closes his eyes for a moment, centering himself before he begins.

"Alright, let's do this," I say, and press the record button. The familiar beat fills the room, pulsing through the headphones.

Harry starts to sing, "Meet me in the hallway" his voice rich and resonant, weaving seamlessly with the instrumental track. "Meet me in the hallway"
