Harrys point of view

It's been a few days since that heated exchange with Noa, and we haven't talked since. I can't stop thinking about her, and it's driving me crazy. We're all out now - Dax, Theo, Kaylee, Abi, and Harmony - trying to act normal, but the tension between Noa and me is palpable.

We're at a cozy café downtown, the kind with mismatched chairs and fairy lights strung across the ceiling. The chatter and laughter of our group fill the space, but I can't shake the feeling that Noa is avoiding me. She's sitting at the far end of the table, laughing at something Theo said, but her eyes never meet mine.

I try to focus on the conversation around me, but my thoughts keep drifting back to Noa. The way her eyes light up when she laughs, the way she tucks her hair behind her ear—every little detail. I take a sip of my coffee, the bitter taste grounding me for a moment, but it doesn't last.

I pull out my phone, pretending to check messages. I hesitate for a moment before typing a quick text to Noa.

I watch her out of the corner of my eye as she feels her phone buzz in her pocket

I watch her out of the corner of my eye as she feels her phone buzz in her pocket. She glances at it, then up at me, her expression unreadable before she puts it back in her pocket. I lift my phone seeing the grey read text under my message. I send another message.

She pulls out her phone, letting out a sigh

She pulls out her phone, letting out a sigh. A small smile tugs at the corners of her lips, one she's clearly trying to suppress. The sight of it sends my heart fluttering. It's as if her body can't help but react to my teasing, even when she's determined to keep her emotions in check.
