Chapter Four

"Nothing prepared me for chili man, also no one could beat me when it came to food and spice and all things nice"

Three days after the incident, child welfare showed up to her house while Vicky was there to inspect saying they had Anonymous caller reached them, after the children went to school and Samantha to work, 

Unfortunately, they did not know who they were talking to, Vicky did not answer anything and would not allow them in the house either even after being threatened with the police what they did not expect however was Samantha showing up and a lawyer by their side along with two police sergeants as witness.

The situation was this the police would search the home instead of the welfare agents taking photo's while Samantha wrote out the list of food she provided on a day to day basis, their lawyer who Samantha had no idea they had provided not only with both of their working schedule, the nanny's schedule over the weekends as well as a written letter from the school an academic letter that tracked both children's emotional and physical balance as well as the last doctor's appointment from the physical they had all received.

Once the welfare agents left their lawyer who Samantha now knew as Stan Yips made a call to the region and explain that the call they had received was false and would provide evidence of the threat of said caller before he called both Vicky and Samantha in to sit and explain.

"Would you like anything to drink, water, coffee, tea, fruit juice?"

Vicky and Stan Yips looked at Samantha before looking at each other, Vicky gave him a nod as to say 'indulge her, this is how she copes'

"Coffee please, one sugar two coffee's black" replied Stan

They watched her from their seats noticing how everything she was doing was mechanic, Samantha wasn't even aware that she had started washing the dishes even as far as taking those that were already clean out of the cupboards and cleaning them over while the kettle was boiling, Vicky called Mike and told him that Samantha could not be coming and when he changed to video call Vicky willingly showed while explained why, before she could even ending the call Samantha stopped

"Why? Why do this to me? What did I do to deserve this?"

Vicky "Sa...."

"I mean I devoted myself to her, if she said jump, I never asked how high, she wanted me to date I did, she wanted to make sure that my son's father stayed I did, she wanted someone to be her punching bag I was willing... how much more does she want?"

"It is not that simple" said Stan as he saw Vicky put the phone down while still on call "your aunt is working with me after the call yesterday we have all the information to what she witnessed in a police statement, Vicky as well has a recording from your laptop which she sent to me yesterday already and the two officers that was here was to make certain that witnesses were readily available"

"Why try and destroy my life, I am finally on my feet, I am finally happy, my kids are doing well"

"Because she cannot stand to see you happy, Samantha — sister think about it, Charmaine was happy explaining her day to day from school all the way until she came home. Charmaine told Caitlyn about the foods you make which are both healthy and what Charls needs in his diet and plus I have many video's of what you showed me how they were there when you were living with her and the difference here since you moved" explained Vicky

"As I was saying with everything Vicky has gathered along with the visit from social services we have enough not only to get a restraining order against her but also to force the other two to comply with your demands" stated Stan Yips

"My demand?" asked Samantha Confused

"back payment, cancellation of the maintenance orders as well as their parental rights, Sam after this you all three will be free"
