"Sometimes a confrontation is best, especially when you have someone that cares for you not only to do what you cannot but also to support you when you gave it a try"
It had been two months after arriving in Nelspruit, Brian had moved out soon after she moved in with her kids after a fight with Jacob, Vicky could not take much anymore either and kicked him out leaving just Samantha, her children and Vicky.
Jules hearing this was happy and told Vicky that she had a place for them to move to and bought them to the two bedroom apartment on the property even Johan who was meant to move out said that he was in on it and knew that it was only a ruse to move those that either did not pay or did not pay the full amount which meant that Samantha, Vicky, Johan and his wife had the property to themselves for the time being until the three smaller apartments could be rented out.
Life was getting easier for them as well, Mike Turner, Samantha's boss was strict and yet easy going and hearing their situation at home decided that Samantha would be placed permanently on day shift and Vicky would stay on as night.
This had a small argument from Vicky a valid Argument at that since to Vicky Samantha was still damaged, but Samantha thrived under the working conditions that even the Mike after an innocent banter asked Rita and Vicky if they had been lying about her because she was a delight to be around.
In truth the work place had helped Samantha greatly, after placing her children in school and having the rest of the week since coming to Nelspruit to herself cooking, cleaning and generally playing with her friends online, spending time with Vicky as she helped Charls settle into his new school and fetching Charmaine from aftercare and helping with her homework after, then going for the interview and landing the job, Samantha had a load that she never knew that was on her shoulders lifted her true personality started showing about the work place.
At first Samantha was quite like a fish out of water, her job was with a cash-in-transit company and she worked in the counting department just as Vicky and the atmosphere was not what she expected it to be either, the month that she had started working the people were friendly and not like other places where you get those that pry in each other's lives.
It was also fun in her opinion as minor pranks, many jokes and even though the counting house did their job diligently there were times when they played with each other. On one particular day it was the start of 'hell week' Samantha did not understand this well until it came, it was simple there were many companies that made double their usual and it was their job to count and bank but 'Hell week' they stayed later than usual because the revenue of each of their clients doubled this usually led to the nightshift and Dayshift to collide.
Luckily for her kids, Vicky's parents were there to help during this week, but this wasn't why Samantha's Manager accused Rita and Vicky of making Samantha different. During Hell week Samantha still had not spoken much she came to work, greeted everyone as usual then sat at her place and started working, it wasn't until Mike burst in the room to check at how smoothly everything was running as nightshift came in.
"I would rather get laid, than do this every month!"
This was Mikes normal saying which Samantha did not know at the time and without thinking she replied
"The show would not be appreciated but I would certainly join if your wife was involved"
Mike had a beautiful wife Cassandra Turner and during hell week a heart of gold ordering take out for them all even though they bought their own food and many drooled over her openly, she was in management as well and would often go to every department to see how everyone was. When Samantha said that the room was silent, only the sound of the counting machines could be heard, but then a small giggle echoed in the silence before the whole room burst out laughing.
