"It's your turn for Dig Dug."

Y/N POV:

"Let's do it," my sister said as I nodded and closed my eyes. "Search for people's minds," she instructed, and the darkness enveloped me as I entered the realm of the mind.

"Feel their thoughts, their memories," her voice echoed in the void.

I reached out, connecting with the consciousness of others. After a moment, I connected with one person who seemed to be quite distant.

"I've connected with Ms. Greeb," I reported.

"Wow, farther than last time," my sister exclaimed. "Now, tell me what she's thinking." I delved into Ms. Greeb's mind, exploring her thoughts.

"She's imagining herself and her boss... um, kissing," I hesitated.

"Come out of her mind immediately," my sister urged, and I snapped back to the void.

"I think this is enough for today. Open your eyes," my sister said, cleaning my nose as it was bleeding.

"You're improving a lot," she complimented, and I smiled at her. I had been practicing mind reading and mind controlling, attempting to search people's minds from afar.

"Are you tired?" she asked me.

"Not much," I replied.

"Y/S/N, Steve is on call," we heard Mom call from downstairs. A smile appeared on my sister's face as she stood up from the bed.

"Someone is in love," I teased, and she glared at me.

"Do you want to read his mind?" I asked her.

"Don't do that; that's an invasion of privacy," she said, and I raised my eyebrows as she paused. "Even though we're doing it on other people, it's for training."

My sister walked out of my room, and suddenly, my radio buzzed. I answered it.

"This is Arlo, Y/N, do you copy?" Arlo's voice came through the radio, and I smiled.

"Yes, I copy," I responded.

"Lucas and Dustin have six bucks, and I have some. What about you?" Arlo inquired, and my eyes widened because, amidst this training, I had totally forgotten.

"I don't know yet," I admitted. "Come to my house. Over and out."

I shut off the radio before letting him say anything else and began searching around my house for any spare change.

"I don't get much," I sighed as I got an idea. I knocked on my sister's room door and entered to find her on the phone, likely talking with Stiles.

"Hey, Y/S/N, I need some bucks for Hawkins Arcade," I asked, hoping she had a bit to spare.
