"You girls saved us all."

Y/N POV:

After what felt like an eternity, Dad finally pulled up outside the Hawkins National Laboratory. As I climbed out of the car, the eerie growls of the monsters within sent shivers down my spine. I glanced over at Eleven, who stood frozen, staring at the imposing building with a haunted expression. I could only imagine the horrific memories of abuse and trauma that must be flooding back to her.

"Hey El," I whispered softly, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. She tore her gaze away from the lab to meet my eyes. "Just remember, you're safe now. We're here with you, and we won't let anything happen to you." I gave her a reassuring smile, and after a moment, she returned it with a small, grateful one of her own.

Dad came around to stand next to us, his jaw set with determination. "We've got this, girls. We're a team, and we're going to face this together."

Hopper approached, gripping a gun tightly in his hand. "All right. You girls let us do the heavy lifting up front. Y/N, you save your mind control for at that Mind flyer. Save your strength until we're below."

Dad nodded in agreement. "He's right, sweethearts. Conserve your energy. We don't know exactly what we're walking into, and you'll need every ounce of strength you have."

I took a deep, steadying breath. "Okay Dad, Hopper. Let's just get this over with and close that gate for good."

As we entered the lab, the sight of dead bodies littering the hallways made my stomach churn. My heart clenched painfully when I spotted Bob among the fallen, his lifeless eyes staring up at the flickering lights. I forced myself to look away, focusing on following Hopper, El and Dad deeper into the eerie, blood-stained corridors.

"Stay close, girls," Dad warned as we climbed a staircase, the metallic scent of blood heavy in the air.

At the top, we stumbled upon a badly injured Dr. Owens, his leg torn and bleeding profusely. While Hopper tended to his wound.

"Hey Doc," Hopper said grimly.

"Those suckers got you pretty good, huh?" Dad asked him as Dad put the belt around his leg to stop bleeding. Owens' eyes widened in shock as he noticed El standing behind them.

"Oh, I've been meaning to tell you. This is Eleven. Eleven, Doc Owens. Doc Owens, Eleven. She's been staying with me for about over a year and she and Y/n about to save our asses." Hopper said.

"Maybe after all these over you can help her live a normal life. You can think about it." Dad said as Owens groaned in pain when dad tightened the belt like a warning.

"Don't go anywhere." Hopper said giving a hand gun before we starts to walk to the lab.

We finally reached the lab as In a dark hallway filled with floating particles that almost resembled.

"Stay her girls!" Hopper said, raising his gun as he and Dad walked in to lab. El grabbed my hand as I intertwined and we both followed them slowly as we heard the creatures shrieking.

Dad and Hopper gets ready to shoot the creatures but before they could pull the trigger, the creatures let out high-pitched shrieks of agony and fled back into the shadows.

We looked at each other before entering the room as me and El finally saw the gate.

"Noah, Jim, are you there?" I heard my mom voice from radio.

"Yeah, I copy." Dad said.

"Close it." Mom said as we looked at each other and entered the elevator. The gate loomed before us, pulsing with an otherworldly red glow. The terrifying figure of the Mind Flayer towered just beyond the rift, its shadowy form writhing and twisting in a grotesque dance.

I grabbed my dad hand as he gave me a squeez which meants we are going to be okay and you can do this. Hopper stopped the elevator as El and I looked at each other and nod.

"Girls, you're going to have to work together to close the gate," Dad said, his voice firm but laced with concern. "Support each other. Your powers are stronger when you're united."

"We've got this. Together, we're unstoppable." I said as me and El took a step forward releasing my dad and El hand.

As El began to focus her powers on closing the gate, we all finally saw the mind flyer as it tried to come out of the gate.

As the Mind Flayer's ugly body started to come out of the gate, its dark arms reaching out towards us, I used all of my strength and focused my mind on the monster. I could feel its evil presence pushing back against me, trying to fight against my attempts to control it, but I didn't give up.

Next to me, El's face was scrunched up in deep concentration as she used all of her power to close the gate. The edges of the hole started to slowly come together, but the Mind Flayer fought back, trying to keep the gate open.

Behind us, the growls and screams of the demo-dogs filled the air as they attacked the elevator. Dad and Hopper started shooting, their guns blazing as they fought to keep the monsters away.

I clenched my teeth, my head hurting from the huge effort of fighting the Mind Flayer's will. I could feel its anger and hatred washing over me in big waves, but I pushed back with all the love and strength I had in my heart.

El let out a loud scream, blood coming from her nose as she used every last bit of her power to seal the gate. The Mind Flayer's body started to disappear, its essence being pulled back into the Upside Down as the hole kept getting smaller.

I focused my mind on the remaining arms, wanting them to let go of our world and go back into the darkness where they came from. The burning pain in my head got worse, and I could feel my own blood dripping down my face, but I refused to stop.

Suddenly, I felt a rush of power unlike anything I had ever felt before make me scream. My feet lifted off the ground, and I rose into the air alongside El, our bodies held up by the sheer force of our combined powers. The Mind Flayer let out a terrifying shriek of rage and sadness as the last of its essence was ripped away, sucked back through the quickly closing gate.

With a final, ground-shaking boom, the hole sealed shut, and the Mind Flayer vanished from sight. El and I hung in the air for a moment longer, our bodies glowing with a strange light, before we slowly floated back down to the elevator floor.

The demo-dogs lay still, their lifeless bodies scattered around us. Dad and Hopper lowered their guns, their faces showing a mix of amazement and relief.

I stumbled backward, my legs barely able to hold me up, and fell into my father's arms. El staggered into Hopper's hug, her small body shaking with tiredness and the release of all her feelings.

"You did it," Dad whispered, his voice shaking with emotion. "You girls saved us all."

"You girls are the bravest I have ever known." Hopper said.

For a long moment, we just held onto each other, tears streaming down our faces as we started to understand what we had just done. We had faced the ultimate evil, stood at the very edge of destruction, and come out winners.

We had won. Against all odds, we had closed the gate and sent the Mind Flayer back to the horrible place it came from.
