"Holy shit! You should have seen the look on your faces."
Y/N POV:
After we arrived at Mike's house, we got ready and waited for Will to join us. In the meantime, the boys decided to pass the time with a pillow fight. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin ganged up on Arlo, mercilessly hitting him with pillows.
Meanwhile, I stood there, taking on the role of an amused observer like Janine, and burst into laughter at the sight of the pillow fight.
Finally, Will joined us, completing our group. I had thought Jonathan might join too, but it seemed he had other plans. We greeted Will warmly, exchanging smiles and excited chatter as we prepared to embark on the trick-or-treat adventure.
"Trick-or-treat!" We all exclaimed as Will recorded.
"Aww, well, aren't you cute? Little exterminators and little lady!" the woman exclaimed, making us all look at each other as then Dustin took the candies from her.
"If I get another 3 Musketeers, I'm gonna kill myself," Lucas said.
"What's wrong with 3 Musketeers?" Dustin asked him.
"What's wrong with 3 Musketeers?" Lucas shot back.
"No one likes 3 Musketeers," Mike sighed.
"I literally hate it," Arlo added with a sigh.
"Yeah, right?" I chimed in.
"Yeah, it's just nougat," Will added.
"Whoa. 'Just nougat'? Just nougat is top three for me!" Dustin argued.
"'Top three?'" Lucas asked him sarcastically.
"Top three!" Dustin exclaimed.
"Oh god, give me a break," Arlo sighed.
"Seriously, I can just eat a whole bowl of nougat straight up!" Dustin continued.
Suddenly a person dressed as Michael Myers jumped in front of us, catching us all by surprise. They started waving around a knife, making us all scream. Arlo and I quickly, without even knowing, grabbed each other's hands.
The person under the mask started laughing, and they pulled it off to reveal Max.
"Holy shit! You should have seen the look on your faces," she exclaimed as we all just stared at her.
"And you? Who screams like that? You sound like a little girl," Max said to Lucas.
"Hey, y/n," she said as I smiled at her.
Max started walking forward down the street, then turned to us when we didn't follow her. "Hey, you guys coming or not? Oh, I heard we should head up Loch Nora! That's where the rich people live, right?" Max exclaimed.
