"Two episodes in two days."

Y/N POV:

"Will!" Lucas and Mike's voices echoed as they swung open the door and found us huddled around him.

"Will, Will!" I cried out, my voice trembling with concern.

"What happened?" Mike's voice was laced with worry as he rushed to our side, with Lucas close behind.

"We don't know," Arlo explained, his tone filled with apprehension. "We found him like this."

"I think he's having an episode," I managed to stammer out, my own voice shaky with fear. Lucas and Mike's expressions shifted to one of dread.

"I have to get inside his mind," I declared, glancing at them for confirmation. They all nodded in agreement.

Closing my eyes, I delved into Will's consciousness. But as soon as I entered, a powerful gust of wind assaulted me, forcing me to shield my face with my arms.

"Will! Will!" I called out desperately, struggling against the fierce wind. Eventually, I spotted a swirling black mist in the distance.

"Will!" I shouted, making my way towards him despite the wind's resistance. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I fought against the unseen force.

"Will!" I cried out once more, but then something slammed me to the ground. I looked up to see a menacing creature looming overhead, sending shivers down my spine.

With a surge of determination, I pushed myself up and continued towards Will. Finally reaching him, I watched as the black mist retreated into his body.

"Will, wake up!" I pleaded, shaking him gently as the wind began to subside. His eyes fluttered open, and we both returned to the real world.

I stumbled, but Arlo and Mike quickly steadied me while Joyce rushed to embrace Will. When did she arrive?

"Are you okay?" Arlo asked, concern etched on his face, as everyone turned their worried gazes towards me. I felt a trickle of blood from my nose, and Arlo hurriedly used his sleeve to wipe it away.

"Y/N dear, are you okay?" Joyce's concern enveloped me as I weakly nodded, managing a faint smile.

"Yeah," I assured her, glancing at Will, who still appeared dazed. Wiping away my tears, I noticed our friends and Joyce watching us with worry, while Max looked on, clearly puzzled.

"Will, sweetheart, let's head home, alright?" Joyce gently suggested to him before turning back to me.

"Y/N, need a ride back?" she kindly offered.

"Thanks, Joyce, but I biked here," I replied, as she nodded in understanding.

We walked out of the building behind Will and Joyce, and we all stopped by the stairs while Joyce guided Will to her car.

"Alright, that totally freaked me out. Did that not freak you guys out?" Max chimed in, her tone filled with unease.

"And Y/n, what happened to you there?" she continued.

"Nothing that concerns you," Mike said to her as I shook my head at him, then turned to Max.

"It's nothing, Max," I said, smiling at her.

"Two episodes in two days," Dustin said.

"It's getting worse," Arlo continued, his concern evident.

"You think it's True Sight?" Lucas asked, his voice tinged with worry.

"What's True Sight?" Max inquired, curious about the term as Arlo and Mike gave Lucas a look and shook their heads.

As the car engine started, Lucas dismissed the topic with a simple, "It's nothing."

"Mom, Dad, Y/S/N," I began, my voice wavering slightly as I recounted the events of the day. We were seated around the dinner table, the warm glow of the overhead light casting a comforting atmosphere in the room.

"I need to tell you about something that happened today," I continued, glancing at each of them in turn.

As I described finding Will in distress and the harrowing experience of delving into his consciousness, their expressions shifted from curiosity to concern.

"So, you were inside Will's mind?" my mom asked, her brow furrowed with worry.

I nodded, taking a deep breath before continuing. "Yes, but it wasn't like anything I've experienced before. It felt like there was this... powerful force resisting me, like a storm raging inside his mind."

My dad leaned forward, his expression grave. "And this creature you saw?"

"It was... indescribable," I admitted, shuddering at the memory. "It was like something out of a nightmare, towering over me with eyes that seemed to pierce into my soul."

Y/S/N, who had been silent until now, spoke up with concern evident in her voice. "Are you sure you're okay, Y/N? That sounds terrifying."

"I'm fine," I assured her, offering a weak smile. "Just a little shaken up, is all."

My mom reached across the table, placing a comforting hand on mine. "We're just glad you both are safe, sweetheart."

"If you want, you can take your day off tomorrow," my dad said.

"Thank you," I said, smiling as he returned, then his expression changed to serious.

"Y/N, does it feel real when you were there?" Dad asked me.

"I feel like it's real. But I'm sure what Will is experiencing is not just an episode," I said to them.

I woke up and had breakfast, observing as my mom left for the Byers' house, my dad headed to Hopper's, and my sister presumably went to school.

Suddenly, the telephone rang, and I hurried to answer it.

"Hello?" I began, but before I could finish, my mom's urgent voice cut through the line.

"Y/N, it's me," she said.

"Mom?"

"Dad will pick you up, okay?," her words were laced with concern, sending a shiver down my spine. Just then, the familiar sound of our car pulling into the driveway confirmed her instructions.

"Mom, what happened?" I asked.
