"Bob's gone. We can't do anything. We have to leave."

Y/N POV:

I closed my eyes and focused, searching for my dad's or Hopper's mind. Finally, I found my dad's mind, and I saw the demogorgon, resembling a dog.

"It's too late," I said quietly, causing Arlo and Mike to stop struggling and turn to me.

"What is she doing?" one of the soldiers asked, but we all ignored him. Then, I saw the demogorgon hit the glass and break it.

I opened my eyes to find everyone staring at me. I glanced between Arlo and Mike.

"We're too late," I said, turning towards Will's room.

"Y/N, what happened?" Arlo and Mike asked, following my lead.

"We're under attack," I said to them. Suddenly, an alarm started blaring.

"Shit," Arlo whispered as we entered Will's room.

"What happened?" my mom asked me, concern evident in her voice.

"What's going on?" Joyce asked, her expression mirroring my mom's.

"We're under attack," Mike said, as Arlo grabbed the needle.

"We need to make Will sleep," Arlo said, holding up the needle.

"What?" my mom and Joyce asked, confused.

"He's a spy. If he knows where we are, so does the Shadow Monster," Mike answered.

"He's lying!" Will exclaimed.

"He killed the soldiers!" I added.

"He'll kill us too!" Arlo interjected.

"They're lying! They're lying! They're lying! They're lying!" Will yelled, his voice filled with panic, as Joyce and my mom tried desperately to calm him down.

Suddenly, we all heard gunshots echoing from down the corridor.

"Those are gunshots!" Bob exclaimed.

"They're lying! They're lying! They're lying! They're lying!" Will continued yelling.

"Will! Listen, do you know who I am?" Joyce questioned him urgently make him stop struggling and stare at her. "Do you know who I am?"

Will looked at her for a few seconds. "You're... You're mom!"

"Hold him down," Joyce ordered to Bob as my mom took the needle from Arlo. Bob and Joyce grabbed Will, restraining him.

"Let go! No! Let go!" Will struggled as my mom pushed the needle into him, and he fell asleep.

Suddenly, Dad, Hopper, and Doctor Owens burst into the room, their faces grim as they took in the scene. The door in front of us rattled as if someone was trying to break it down, accompanied by menacing growls from behind.
