With Jenna spending so much time with Courtney, I was starting to feel lonely. I understood maybe them wanting to catch up, but Jenna basically ignored me, even when we worked out. It was pissing me off.

"How're you and Jenna?" Cameron asked in a sing-song voice, nudging my shoulder with his.

"Fine," I grumbled. I slammed my beer bottle onto the table. "We're not dating, Cam."

"I take it you're not actually doing fine," Rob said. "I'll ask Jenna."

I gave him a look of disbelief as he stood up and walked to the bar, where Jenna had just walked in with Courtney. They weren't holding hands, or really touchy with each other. They looked like just two friends showing up to get drinks. Yet I still couldn't get over my jealousy.

Rob walked to Jenna and they started talking a little. She looked at me with a sad face before shaking her head and looking at a girl down the bar. Jenna said something to Courtney and walked down to the girl. They immediately began to chat it up.

Jenna looked at me quickly and bit her lip before saying something else to the girl. Then she walked back down to Courtney. I watched the girl take in a deep breath and climb off the barstool, now facing me. She was crazy pretty, with greyish-blue eyes lined with black eyeliner and glitter, and dark brown, almost black, hair. She was taller than me (wasn't everyone though?), maybe Jenna's height. She had a wide but nervous smile, and she was walking towards me.

"Hi," she said nervously. The guys were all staring and I could tell that made her even more nervous, so I told them to go buy more drinks. "So, um...that girl, I'm guessing you know her, Jenna, she told me a lot about you and I was just, um, wondering if maybe I could buy you a drink?"

My eyes wavered to Jenna who gave me a sad smile and a nod. I didn't want her to try to make me have feelings for other people. I didn't like that. But I could tell that she necessarily didn't want to do it either.

"I'd love that," I said with a smile. She smiled back and bit her lip.

We walked back up to the bar, just as the guys were sitting back down, and the girl ordered a couple beers. She was pretty, she really was, but I was hung up on Jenna. So bad.

"I didn't catch your name," I said. "I'm Tay."

She smiled. "Katy."

"You probably get told this often, but you have really pretty eyes."

Katy blushed and looked down. "Thanks. So do you."

"They're just brown..."

"They're, like, really dark. Totally mesmerizing."

The bartender came back with two beers and smiled at us, before Katy slid one over to me. I took a sip and so did she. We both made faces.

"That's disgusting," she said with a laugh.

"Agreed," I said. We were both laughing now.

"Do you want to get out of he-"

"Yes. Right now."

She smiled. "Okay. I'll pay."

"I've got it." I pulled out some cash and called to get the bartender's attention. I paid her tab and mine before returning to our table to grab my jacket.

"Taylor Jardine, don't you dare leave with that girl," Mike said.

"I'll see you later. Or tomorrow. Bye."

"Tay!" the guys all called. I ignored them and followed Katy out of the bar.

"Yes. Fuck yes. Oh, my God."
