It was supposed to be a routine mission, another mark to eliminate with no witnesses and no trace left behind.

You had tracked your target to a secluded space station in Universe 6. Just as you were about to strike, a shadow emerged from the darkness.

Hit stepped forward, his icy eyes locking onto yours. You recognized him immediately—the most feared assassin across the universes. His presence here could only mean one thing: you both had the same target.

"Step aside," he said in a low, commanding tone. "This one is mine."

You tightened your grip on your weapon, your heart pounding. "I don't think so. I've been tracking him for weeks."

Hit's gaze didn't waver. "Then it looks like we have a problem."

The tension was palpable as you circled each other, neither willing to back down. Your target, sensing the impending danger, tried to flee, but you both moved with blinding speed. In the end, it was a standstill.

A flicker of amusement passed through Hit's eyes. "You're good. What's your name?"

You smirked. "Y/N. And you're Hit, the legendary assassin of Universe 6."

Hit lowered his guard slightly, a rare gesture. "Indeed. It seems we're at an impasse. Perhaps we can come to an agreement?"

Over the following weeks, you and Hit crossed paths more frequently, sometimes intentionally, sometimes by coincidence. The rivalry turned into camaraderie, and camaraderie into something deeper.

You began to meet in secret, away from the prying eyes of your respective universes. In those stolen moments, you discovered shared interests and passions—a mutual love for solitude, an appreciation for the art of combat, and a quiet yearning for something beyond your deadly professions.

Your relationship deepened over time, marked by stolen kisses in the shadows and whispered confessions under starlit skies. Hit, ever the stoic assassin, found himself opening up to you in ways he had never imagined. And you, in turn, saw a side of him that few others had ever glimpsed—a man capable of tenderness and vulnerability beneath his icy exterior.

It wasn't long before Hit expressed his concern for your safety. "You should retire," he said one night after a particularly dangerous mission. "You deserve a life away from this constant danger."

You looked at him, surprised. "And what about you?"

"I've lived this life for too long. There's no way I could get out of it, but you... you still have a chance for something different."

"Are you serious?" you asked, searching his eyes for any hint of doubt.

"Deadly serious," he replied, his expression softening. "I've never met anyone like you. I don't want to lose you."

Years passed, and you and Hit settled into a quieter life. You maintained contact with your friends and family, but mostly with your closest friend Bulma, who was thrilled to hear about your relationship with the enigmatic assassin. Despite his reluctance, Hit began to open up more, finding peace in the life you built together.

One day, Bulma invited you both to a party at Capsule Corp. Hit was reluctant, but you convinced him to go. "It'll be fun," you promised. "Besides, it's been a while since we've seen everyone."

"Social gatherings aren't my thing," he replied, but the look in your eyes made him reconsider. "Fine."

The party was at Capsule Corp, filled with familiar faces from Universe 7. The moment you both arrived, the atmosphere shifted. Hit's tall, imposing figure and steely gaze drew immediate attention.

Goku was the first to notice. "Hit? What are you doing here?" Goku appeared in front of Hit, eyes narrowed.

Before Hit could respond, Bulma intervened, a smile on her face. "Relax, Goku. He's with Y/N."

Goku looked at you with surprise. "With Y/N? How did that happen?"

You smiled, stepping closer to Hit. "It's a long story, Goku. But he's here as my guest."

Whis, standing in the corner, chuckled softly.

The initial shock turned into curiosity as everyone adjusted to the idea of you and Hit being together. Bulma, ever the gracious host, welcomed Hit warmly and introduced him to everyone.

As the evening progressed, Hit remained by your side, his usual stoic demeanor softening slightly as he interacted with your friends. He even managed to engage in a conversation with Piccolo about the intricacies of training and discipline.

Goku, still curious, couldn't help but challenge Hit. "So, Hit, any chance for a rematch while you're here?"

Hit gave a rare, small smile. "I'm here to enjoy the party, not to fight."

"Maybe later then," Goku said, not willing to give up.

Vegeta watched from a distance, an amused expression on his face. "Kakarot, always itching for a fight."

At one point, you found yourself surrounded by old friends, reminiscing about past adventures. Hit, though slightly out of his element, stayed close, his presence a comforting constant.

Bulma approached, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "So, Y/N, how did you manage to convince Hit to come to one of my parties?"

You laughed, glancing at Hit. "It took some convincing, but he's here. That's all that matters."

The night continued with laughter, stories, and Goku asking for a sparring match, much to Hit's amusement.

A few years later, your family grew with twins, a boy and a girl. They were the perfect blend of both you and Hit, with their father's piercing gaze and your mischievous smile.

One sunny afternoon, you watched from the porch as Hit played with the twins in the garden. They were giggling, their laughter a sound that filled your heart with joy.

"Come on, Daddy! Catch us if you can!" your son called out, his energy boundless.

Hit, with a rare smile on his face, pretended to chase them, moving slower than he usually would to give them a head start. "You two are too fast for me," he teased.

"Papa, you can't catch me!" your son called, running away from Hit with outstretched arms.

You joined them, your daughter immediately running to you and hugging your leg. "Mommy, save me from Daddy!"

Laughing, you scooped her up and spun her around. "Alright, sweetheart, let's get you to safety."

As the day turned into night, you stood with Hit, watching the children play. "We've come a long way from when we met," you said softly.

"You've made my life so much more than I ever imagined it could be," he said softly, only for you to hear.

You reached out, grabbing his hand in yours. "And you've made mine complete."

You leaned into him, feeling the warmth of his presence. Despite the rocky start and the dangers that once defined your lives, you had found peace and happiness together. And in that moment, surrounded by family, you knew you had everything you needed.
