You and Vegeta had been dating for a while, and it had been an incredible journey filled with adventures, battles, and, of course, a fair share of cheesy moments. Despite his tough exterior, Vegeta had a soft spot for you, and he wasn't afraid to show it, albeit in his own unique way.
One sunny day, you decided to surprise Vegeta with a picnic in the park. You knew he needed a break from training and a chance to relax, and what better way to spend the day than with a romantic picnic?
As you spread out the blanket and set up the picnic basket, Vegeta watched with a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You humans and your picnics," he muttered, but you could tell he was secretly looking forward to it.
The two of you enjoyed a delicious meal, basking in the warmth of the sun and the laughter that filled the air. It was a perfect day until a small earthworm crawled near Vegeta's foot.
You noticed his sudden tension and raised an eyebrow. "Is something wrong, Vegeta?"
He glanced down at the worm, his eyes widening in alarm.
"I didn't know you were afraid of worms, Vegeta."
Vegeta's cheeks flushed, and he quickly kicked the worm away. "I'm not afraid of them! I just... don't like them."
You couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "Oh, come on, Vegeta. A mighty Saiyan warrior like you scared of a tiny worm?"
He scowled, clearly embarrassed by his irrational fear. "It's not fear. It's... disgust."
You grinned and decided to have a little fun. "Well, then, my brave and mighty Vegeta, how about a little challenge?"
He raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. "What kind of challenge?"
You reached over to the grass, plucking up another earthworm and holding it between your fingers. "I dare you to hold this worm for at least five seconds."
Vegeta's eyes widened in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me."
You gave him an encouraging smile. "Come on, Vegeta. Show me you're not afraid."
He hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly extended his hand. The worm wriggled in his palm, and Vegeta tried to maintain his composure. But as the seconds ticked by, he couldn't hide the look of sheer discomfort on his face.
You counted down, "Three... two... one..."
Vegeta promptly dropped the worm and wiped his hand on the grass as if it had contaminated him. "I did it. Happy now?"
You burst into laughter, unable to contain yourself. "Oh, Vegeta, you're too cute when you're flustered."
He scowled but couldn't hide the faintest hint of a smile. "Don't get used to it, (Y/N). It won't happen again."
You couldn't resist teasing him further. "Who knew the Prince of all Saiyans had a soft spot for worms?"
Vegeta sighed, realizing that he had been caught in a moment of vulnerability. "Just don't tell anyone about this, especially Kakarot."
You nodded, promising to keep his secret safe. "Your secret is safe with me, Vegeta."
As you continued to enjoy your picnic, you couldn't help but marvel at the cheesy and endearing side of Vegeta that he had shown you. It was a reminder that even the mightiest warriors had their quirks and vulnerabilities, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
With a contented smile, you leaned over and kissed Vegeta on the cheek, making him turn even redder. "I love you, worm-fearing and all, Vegeta."
He grumbled, but there was a warmth in his eyes that spoke volumes. "I love you too, (Y/N). Now let's finish this ridiculous picnic."
And so, you and Vegeta continued your picnic, savoring the cheesy and funny moments that made your relationship unique. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and the knowledge that even the mightiest Saiyan had his quirks, worms included.
