a/n- @miraimercury I hope you like it! I went the more generic route for fluffy sappy content, but if you have a specific scenario you'd like to see let me know!

Goten had been looking forward to this day for weeks. It was rare that he could take a break from school or his family, especially with you. The two of you had been dating for a few months, and he wanted to make today special. You met up at his house, where his mom, Chi-Chi, greeted you warmly.

"Hi, Mrs. Son," you said with a smile.

"Hello, dear! Are you ready for your date with Goten?" Chi-Chi asked, her eyes twinkling.

You nodded, and Goten appeared behind his mom, grinning from ear to ear. "Hey, ready to go?"

"Absolutely," you replied, taking his hand.

Chi-Chi watched you both with a fond smile. "You two have fun, and Goten, remember to be a gentleman."

"Always, Mom," Goten promised, giving her a quick hug before leading you out the door.

Your first stop was the local ice cream parlor. As you approached the counter, Goten turned to you with a bright smile. "What flavor do you want, Y/N?"

You pondered for a moment before answering, "I'll go with (your favorite)."

Goten nodded, ordering a double scoop of (your favorite) for you and a triple scoop of chocolate for himself. You giggled at the size of his order. "Goten, are you sure you can finish all that?"

He grinned confidently. "Of course! I can eat a lot more than this."

You laughed before taking a bite, "This is really good," you said.

"Yeah, I love this place," Goten agreed. He glanced at you, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. "You've got a bit of ice cream on your nose."

You giggled, trying to wipe it off. "Did I get it?"

Goten leaned over, gently brushing the spot with his thumb. "There, all gone," he said softly, his eyes locking with yours.

You blushed slightly, feeling your heart race at the simple but sweet gesture. "Thanks."

After finishing your ice cream, you made your way to the carnival that had set up in the town's park. The colorful lights and cheerful music filled the air, creating an exciting atmosphere. Goten squeezed your hand, leading you toward the games.

"Let's see if we can win something," he said enthusiastically.

You tried a few games, laughing and teasing each other. Goten was particularly good at the ring toss, and after a few attempts, he managed to win.

"Which one do you want?" he asked, eyeing the plush toys.

You pointed to a cute teddy bear, and Goten nodded, and told the worker which one to grab.

"Here, this is for you," he said, handing you the bear with a proud smile.

You hugged the bear and then leaned up to kiss his cheek. "Thank you, Goten! It's adorable."

You wandered around the carnival some more, playing games and sampling the various foods. Goten was ever the gentleman, always making sure you had everything you wanted and that you were having a great time.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the carnival, you found yourselves at the food court. Goten insisted on buying you dinner, and you both sat down to enjoy some of your favorite food.

Just as you were finishing up, Trunks, Goten's best friend, appeared. "Hey, lovebirds!" he called out, grinning widely.

"Hey, Trunks," Goten replied, waving him over. "What are you doing here?"

"Just checking out the carnival. Looks like you two are having a great time," Trunks said, sitting down next to you.

"We are," you said, smiling at Trunks. "It's been a perfect day."

Trunks smirked, nudging Goten playfully. "You better treat her right, Goten."

Goten chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. "I always do."

Eventually, Trunks wandered off to explore more of the carnival, leaving you and Goten alone again. As the night drew to a close, you found yourselves on the Ferris wheel, the town lights twinkling below you.

"This has been the best day," you said, leaning your head on Goten's shoulder.

"I'm glad," Goten replied, his voice soft. "I just want to make you happy."

"You do," you said, lifting your head to look into his eyes. "You really do."

Goten leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. "I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Goten," you whispered back, feeling your heart swell with happiness.

Goten wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. "Isn't it beautiful up here?"

You nodded, resting your head against his shoulder. "It is. But I think being here with you makes it even more special."

Goten blushed slightly at your words but didn't pull away. Instead, he held you tighter, enjoying the peaceful moment.

As the night started to wind down, you both found a quiet spot to sit and watch the fireworks display. The sky lit up with colorful explosions, and you leaned against Goten, feeling content and happy.

"Today has been perfect," you said softly.

Goten wrapped an arm around you, pulling you closer. "I'm glad you had fun, Y/N."

You looked up at him, your eyes shining. "I always have fun when I'm with you, Goten."

He smiled down at you, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. "Me too, Y/N."

The fireworks continued to light up the sky, and you felt a sense of peace wash over you. Being with Goten made everything feel right, and you couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

As the fireworks ended, you both decided to head home. Goten walked you to your door, his hand still holding yours.

"Thanks for today, Goten," you said, smiling up at him. "I had a wonderful time."

Goten smiled back, his eyes soft. "Me too, Y/N. I'll see you soon?"

You nodded, feeling a sense of excitement for the days to come. "Definitely."

He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. "Goodnight, Y/N."

"Goodnight, Goten."

With that, he turned and walked away, leaving you with a heart full of happiness and anticipation for your next adventure together.
