The Saiyan residence echoed with the sounds of clashing muscles and strained grunts as Goku and Vegeta engaged in an arm-wrestling match. The living room had become their impromptu battlefield, the intensity escalating with each passing moment.
"Come on, Kakarot! Admit defeat!" Vegeta growled, his pride on the line.
Goku grinned, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "Not happening, Vegeta! I've got to show Y/N who the strongest is!"
You stood by, your patience waning, as the coffee table shook with the sheer force of their contest. The Saiyan duo, lost in their pride, seemed oblivious to the potential damage.
"Guys, really? Can't we have a peaceful day without trying to destroy the house?"you pleaded, attempting to intercede.
They both looked at you, then at each other, and simultaneously shook their heads. "Nope!"
That's when you decided enough was enough. You rushed forward, trying to separate the two Saiyans, but in their Saiyan pride-fueled frenzy, they were oblivious to your attempts.
"Guys! Stop it! You're going to hurt each other!" you shouted, desperation lacing your voice.
Just then, the coffee table, unable to withstand the Saiyan forces, collapsed into pieces, sending snacks and magazines flying. You stared at the wreckage, a mix of frustration and amusement.
"Look what you did!" you scolded, pointing at the mess.
Goku scratched his head sheepishly, while Vegeta tried to look unbothered. "Oops?"
"You guys are acting like children. Can't you find a less destructive way to settle your disputes?" you scolded.
Goku scratched his head sheepishly, while Vegeta huffed, crossing his arms. "It's not my fault Kakarot can't accept defeat."
Goku grinned. "Oh, come on, Vegeta. You were straining pretty hard there."
Vegeta's pride wounded, he retorted, "I was not!"
You rolled your eyes. "You're both insufferable. If you want to prove who's stronger, do it in the training room, not in the middle of our living room."
Goku and Vegeta exchanged a glance before grinning mischievously. "You know what? You're right," Goku said.
Vegeta nodded in agreement. "Let's settle this in the training room, Kakarot."
They both rushed off, leaving you with a sigh of relief. Little did you know that the training room would soon become a battlefield of energy blasts and ki blasts as they continued their rivalry.
Later, as you watched them spar from a safe distance, you couldn't help but shake your head at the absurdity of Saiyan pride. Despite the moments of frustration and exasperation, there was a strange charm to their competitiveness.
Eventually, Goku and Vegeta collapsed on the training room floor, both exhausted but still grinning. They may have almost wrecked the house, but the bond they shared was undeniable.
You walked over, unable to stay mad at them for long. "You guys are ridiculous, you know that?"
Goku chuckled, "Well, that's what makes us who we are, right?"
Vegeta smirked, "And don't forget, you chose to be with us."
You rolled your eyes again, a smile playing on your lips. "Yeah, yeah, I chose the two most stubborn saiyans in the universe. Lucky me."
As you leaned down to help them up, Goku planted a quick kiss on your cheek. Vegeta, not one to be outdone, kissed your other cheek. They shared a knowing look, silently acknowledging that despite their constant bickering, you were the center of their universe.
