A/n- ariannamoonlight I love him so thank you again for requesting, I hope you like it!
The Sacred World of the Kai had never seemed so peaceful. The once overwhelming tension between Zamasu and his secret lover, Y/N, the Goddess of Destruction, had eased after their reunion on the desolate planet. Now, they found moments to be together more often, slipping away from their duties to spend time in each other's company, hidden from the eyes of the cosmos.
Today, Zamasu had taken Y/N to one of his favorite secluded spots—a tranquil garden nestled deep within the Sacred World, where the cherry blossoms bloomed in eternal spring. The air was filled with the soft scent of flowers, and the only sounds were the gentle rustling of leaves and the quiet murmur of a nearby stream.
Zamasu and Y/N sat beneath one of the cherry trees, their shoulders touching as they talked in low, contented voices. Zamasu was more relaxed than usual, his usual rigid posture softened as he leaned closer to her, their hands intertwined.
"You're getting soft, you know that?" Y/N teased, a playful smile on her lips.
"Only for you," Zamasu replied, a rare smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
Y/N chuckled, resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad."
For a moment, they sat in comfortable silence, simply enjoying each other's presence. But the tranquility was abruptly interrupted by the sound of a voice clearing behind them.
"Ahem."
Zamasu stiffened instantly, his eyes widening in shock. Y/N straightened up, her hand still in his as they turned to see none other than Gowasu, Zamasu's mentor, standing just a few paces away with an amused expression on his face.
"G-Gowasu-sama!" Zamasu stammered, quickly pulling his hand away from Y/N's, his face flushing with embarrassment. "I didn't... I mean... What brings you here?"
Gowasu raised an eyebrow, a playful smile forming on his lips as he took in the scene before him. "Oh, I was just taking a leisurely stroll through the garden. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon my prized student... getting cozy with a Goddess of Destruction."
Y/N couldn't help but laugh softly, finding Zamasu's flustered state endearing. "It's not what it looks like, Gowasu-sama," she said, though the mischievous glint in her eyes suggested otherwise.
"Oh, I'm sure it's exactly what it looks like," Gowasu replied, his tone light and teasing. "Zamasu, you've been holding out on me. I had no idea you had such a lovely companion."
Zamasu's face turned a deeper shade of red as he struggled to find his voice. "Gowasu-sama, I... We... This is..."
"Oh, relax, Zamasu," Gowasu interrupted, waving a hand dismissively. "I'm not here to get you in trouble. Though I must say, I'm a bit disappointed you didn't tell me about this sooner. I thought we were closer than that."
Zamasu sighed, knowing he had been caught, but there was no real malice in his mentor's tone. "I apologize, Gowasu-sama. We wanted to keep things quiet... for obvious reasons."
Gowasu nodded, his expression softening. "I understand. The relationship between a Supreme Kai and a Goddess of Destruction is... unconventional, to say the least. But I can see that you care for each other, and that's what matters."
Y/N smiled warmly at the older Kai, feeling a sense of relief. "Thank you, Gowasu-sama. Your approval means a lot to us."
"Oh, don't get all sentimental on me now," Gowasu replied with a chuckle. "Though, I have to say, I never expected Zamasu to be so... sweet. It's almost hard to believe."
Y/N giggled, glancing at Zamasu, who was still trying to recover from the embarrassment. "He has his moments."
Gowasu's gaze shifted back to Zamasu, a sly grin on his face. "You know, Zamasu, I never pegged you as the romantic type. But I suppose everyone has their secrets."
Zamasu crossed his arms, trying to regain some semblance of composure. "Gowasu-sama, with all due respect, this is hardly the time for teasing."
"Oh, but it's the perfect time for teasing," Gowasu replied, a twinkle in his eye. "Besides, it's not every day I get to see my student so... flustered."
Y/N couldn't resist joining in the fun. "He does get flustered rather easily, doesn't he? It's quite adorable."
Zamasu shot her a look, though there was no real anger behind it. "You're not helping," he muttered, though the corner of his mouth twitched in a reluctant smile.
Gowasu chuckled, clearly enjoying the exchange. "You know, Y/N, I must commend you. It takes a special kind of person to bring out this side of Zamasu."
"Well, I do try," Y/N replied with a wink, making Zamasu's face flush again.
The three of them shared a laugh, the tension finally breaking. Gowasu, ever the wise and understanding mentor, placed a hand on Zamasu's shoulder.
"Zamasu, you've always been dedicated to your duties, and I admire that. But it's good to see that you've found someone who makes you happy. Don't let that go."
Zamasu looked at Gowasu, a mixture of gratitude and respect in his eyes. "Thank you, Gowasu-sama. I won't."
Gowasu nodded, then turned to Y/N with a smile. "And you, my dear, are welcome in the Sacred World of the Kai anytime. Just promise you'll keep Zamasu in check, will you?"
Y/N grinned. "I'll do my best."
As they all began to walk back through the garden, the atmosphere light and filled with gentle camaraderie, Gowasu leaned over to Zamasu, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "You know, Zamasu, I can see why you're so taken with her. But if you ever need any tips on how to keep the spark alive, don't hesitate to ask. I've got plenty of experience, if you catch my drift."
Zamasu's eyes widened in horror, and he quickly shot Gowasu a glare. "Gowasu-sama, please, I beg you—never speak of such things again."
Gowasu laughed heartily, clearly enjoying his student's discomfort. "Oh, Zamasu, you're too easy to tease. But don't worry, your secret's safe with me."
As they continued their walk, Y/N fell into step beside Zamasu, who had finally managed to compose himself once more. She reached out and took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"See? That wasn't so bad," she said with a smile.
Zamasu sighed, though there was a hint of a smile on his lips. "I suppose not. But I'll never hear the end of it, will I?"
"Probably not," Y/N replied with a laugh. "But at least now we don't have to hide anymore."
Zamasu looked at her, his heart swelling with affection. "No, we don't."
As they walked together, with Gowasu cheerfully chattering away beside them, Zamasu couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. Despite the teasing, despite the embarrassment, he was happy. He had Y/N by his side, and that was all that mattered.
And as for Gowasu's occasional innuendos and sly remarks... well, Zamasu would just have to endure them. After all, what was a little teasing compared to the joy of being with the one you loved?
