In the grand scheme of the multiverse, there existed beings of extraordinary power and authority. Among these beings were the Supreme Kai of Universe 11, Khai, and a mortal woman who had caught his eye. She was an unexpected presence in the divine realm, a human with an inquisitive mind and a compassionate heart, who had been granted a rare opportunity to work alongside the Supreme Kais as a liaison between mortals and the gods.

Khai had always been known for his composed demeanor and dedication to maintaining order within his universe. However, over time, he found himself inexplicably drawn to the woman, who had become a source of both fascination and affection for him. Her perspective on life, her wit, and her kindness had touched something within him that he hadn't known existed.

Their interactions were always professional, with Khai maintaining his air of authority and wisdom. But behind his calm exterior, a storm brewed. It wasn't the typical jealousy born of possessiveness; it was more complex, intertwined with his duty and his unique nature as a Supreme Kai. Khai's jealousy stemmed from his insecurity, his fear of inadequacy, and his confusion about the intense emotions he was experiencing for the first time in eons.

The woman, unaware of Khai's inner turmoil, had become friendly with several other beings in the divine realm, including members of the Pride Troopers and other deities. She was particularly close with Toppo, the leader of the Pride Troopers, whose strong sense of justice and warmth made him an easy companion. Khai couldn't help but notice how her eyes would light up when she spoke to Toppo, or how she would laugh at his jokes—a sound that Khai found both beautiful and painful.

One day, while the woman and Toppo were engaged in a deep conversation, Khai couldn't help but feel a twinge of something unfamiliar. It wasn't anger or possessiveness; it was a deep-seated fear that he, a Supreme Kai, was somehow not enough. He feared that his divine nature and responsibilities might distance him from the one person who had made him feel... human.

Khai watched from a distance as Toppo and the woman discussed various matters, their voices carrying a light-hearted tone. He felt a pang of insecurity, an emotion he wasn't accustomed to. Was he, a being of supreme wisdom and power, feeling jealous of a mortal's attention? The very thought was absurd, yet here he was, grappling with these uncharted feelings.

Instead of confronting the woman or Toppo, Khai chose to distance himself, immersing himself in his duties with a newfound intensity. He rationalized that it was for the best; after all, what place did personal feelings have in the life of a Supreme Kai? Yet, he couldn't shake the gnawing feeling in his chest.

The woman, noticing Khai's sudden aloofness, grew concerned. She sought him out one day, finding him in the grand temple of the Supreme Kai, gazing out at the cosmos. "Khai," she called gently, "are you okay? You've seemed... distant lately."

Khai turned to her, his face an unreadable mask. "I am fine," he replied, his tone even. "There are many duties that require my attention."

She frowned, sensing the wall he had put up. "Is it something I've done? If I've offended you or crossed a line, please tell me."

Khai hesitated, his heart warring with his mind. He wanted to tell her everything, but he feared the consequences. In a rare moment of vulnerability, he spoke, "You have done nothing wrong. It is... I who am at fault."

The woman stepped closer, her eyes filled with concern. "Khai, you're not making any sense. Please, just tell me what's bothering you."

Khai looked away, struggling to find the words. "It is... difficult to explain. I have seen you with others, with Toppo, and I find myself feeling... inadequate. It is not jealousy in the traditional sense, but a fear that I am not capable of offering you what they can. I am a Supreme Kai, and my duties are vast and consuming. I fear that I cannot give you the attention or the companionship you deserve."

The woman stared at him in surprise, then gently took his hand. "Khai, I never expected you to be anything other than who you are. I admire your dedication and your wisdom. My interactions with others don't diminish my respect or feelings for you. You're special to me, not despite your duties, but because of who you are, with them and without them."

Khai looked at her, his eyes softening. "You are truly remarkable," he murmured, a faint smile gracing his lips. "I suppose even Supreme Kais can be foolish at times."

She chuckled softly. "Maybe, but it's nice to know you care. And for the record, I think you're more than enough."

Khai felt a weight lift from his shoulders, his insecurities slowly dissolving in the warmth of her gaze. It was a lesson in humility, even for a god, to realize that vulnerability could coexist with strength.
